Yup, another outstanding interview! Wow, what a person Puka Nakua's mother must be. It was moving to hear about the inspiration Mr. Nakua has drawn from his father, the support his siblings provide one another, and the way his cultural connections have helped him. Thanks, Ms. Kines, Lenny and co for your terrific work!

I don’t know why she says Asian and Hawaiian. It’s Samoans and Tongans dominating the league when it comes to Pacific Islanders.

This is one interview in a series of interviews highlighting NHAAPI players. Last one featured Kyle Hamilton who has S.Korean roots.
@qaaronrodgers24793 ай бұрын
@ Cool sht, but that NHAAPI is goofy. Samoans and Tongans should be their own separate category if they’re gonna say Hawaiian. Hawaiians are at the bottom when it comes to Polynesian athletes.

@ Even in Hawaii, Samoans and Tongans dominate the football culture.

@@qaaronrodgers2479 Thanks for responding. We've been lucky to see so many great Pacific Islanders put on the pads and play great football over the years. I hope you've enjoyed Ms. Kimes' interview with Puka Nakua as much as I have.

@@mjmwise What’s the percentage of Samoans and Tongans in the league, historically? Don’t group us with yall, cmon now
