Use two different browsers for online transactions and other browsing. Use In-Private mode for transactions, this will disable any browser add-ons and trackers. Do not use admin id for browsing. Check security certificate of the new website before providing credit card number. As far as possible use mobile only to check balance, never use/enable it for doing transactions. Also avoid using credit-card numbers in unknown websites, instead use Paypal or similar services, they don't expose your credit card numbers, they are protected by OTP and also when a merchant is registered with Paypal they have to be genuine. Never use debit card for online transactions. These are simple ways to protect you 90%, but criminals are much better than us.
