Honestly their concept is so good and well anchored. Not only they are talking about racism but they are also talking about having your own unique colour, which can be seen on their different styles of rapping but they are of equal value, they used white cuz in theory white is not a colour, but the mixture of all colours in harmony and balance. If you think about light refractory property, there is white which reflects different colours according to the angle, they are first and foremost the same, they just show themselves in different colours depending on their angle which is unique to them. Wow, the latter part of Han's Rap was so fast that I couldn't catch what he was exactly saying by my ears even though I was reading the lyrics at the same time. But, today I play it at 0.25x rate, and I can hear that he actually pronunciated all the syllables correctly without missing a single bit. That's just amazing. I can't help but saying wow. I cant believe kpop stans are discrediting this genius performance. Mayfly's stage is colorful because it's their chosen THEME. Rap stages don't necessarily need to be dark. Again, there's a difference in theme between the two groups, and it's their choice to do a colorful stage or a black and white stage. Regarding props, the other group also used props, right? they had paint and guns, fireworks, one even rode a bike for entrance. Everything boils down to execution. The rap and lyrics shouldn't be an issue either. Rhymer, an ACTUAL expert and not one of the rookies (coz seems like many are looking down at the rookies. so disrespectful. :( ), complemented this performance because of the good lyrics, wit, genius punchlines and rhymes. Both groups did well! Just appreciate both stages. Go get mad at mnet, but you can literally hype your faves without being disrespectful and discrediting any group. Just saying. p.s. for me, this performance was very refreshing because in the past rounds, almost all groups were doing dark concepts.

Hongjoong was born to be on stage. His identity is so clear from the trademark laugh down to his composure and style. His artistry and talent are always used in a way that is deliberate and *says* something. He's not interested in just stringing words together with flashy flows just to look cool if the meaning is void. Even the way he looks at the camera and interacts with the viewer, there's something special about the way he does it that I have yet to see someone else manage, he doesn't just draw your eye, he commands it. Fun fact, he was a well-known rapper in the underground community under the name Heota/Huta when he was 16/17 (2008/2009). His groups Sporty Dogs and Underground Duo (w/ Zico, Kyung, etc) were really amazing. Heota had already had an established Korean fanbase 4 yrs before debut. He was a bboy in Reflect Crew, too. If u wanna see him do sports more, u can check out dream team eps. He was in the finals/quarterfinals for iron man, bicycle obstacle race, relay 1:4, mud wrestling, flag race, winter sports. With all my respect, Bobby isn't the only rapper here everyone, Minhyuk (HUTA) was a well known underground rapper and Chan (CB97) Changbin (spearB) Jisung (J.ONE) (known as 3Racha) were also underground rappers bfr they all debuted as idols. And met a very talented Hongjoong who wrote and produced 40 songs in pre debut period. Let’s not forget that 3racha has released mixtapes even before skz was created. ALSO some of you probably forget that Minhyuk himself is a highly respected producer then join hands with Hongjoong and ofc 3racha the most copyrights 4th gen. This team is extremely powerful but you underestimate them and it shows. Now please stop thinking that the world just revolves around you and go touch the grass.
