GREAT VIDEO! I purchased one the same size, and its being shipped; so I'm searching for ideas for modifications. I love what you've done and I plan to use your ideas. THANKS!

Thanks for the tutorial. I did it and came out nice. Waiting for the snow to try it on. Hope you are doing well. I see you are not active recently.

Now for you, being up North and in the Snow, you might consider installing kayak wheels on the base, which you could take in and out, but you'd have to plug the holes like they do in the kayaks, or, there's always bicycle training wheels - but again, you'd want something that will detract when you've got your sled in place and want it to sit flat on the ground.

Good Morning SkipperT. If you wanted to put wheels on this sled, let's say wheels that allow you to pull this sled with cargo behind you, and that when the sled is in place, you can pivot the wheels up off the ground until you're ready to pull the sled again? I'm about to lose my home and I'll be homeless (I'm in Florida). Last night I discovered a thermal ice fishing shelter whose fold up and out design was what I had been picturing as a building for a camper that I could tow with an electric bike or tricycle so that I'm not homeless. I was looking at the Clam Kenai Pro Thermal - 40th Anniversary Edition Flip Shelter; my thinking was that I could set that box into a longer sled box (using the longer sled box like a flooring that the tent could fit around), and then put a camping chair inside that could fold out into the sleeping position at night and then fold back up. I hope you understand what I'm trying to describe. I'm in Florida and I imagined I could modify those windows to include mesh and a window covering (rain flap) of some type - I'd probably have to sew something in. I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts; the only problem I'm having is trying to come up with how to go about installing wheels on something that I can pull around, and a towing hitch I could attach to the bike, most likely under the seat mount.

I’ve waited 3 years for the update on this setup. How did it work, what changes (if any) did you make? 👍
