Elaboration in Post: On Hikari: I feel as if I meandered a bit, and didn't put enough clear emphasis on the two most important points: 1. Hikari's 7T startup makes him bad in fights with turn pressure (not just fights with turn limit), specifically because the team comp that you'd need to build around him simultaneously will not allow you to maximize his damage potential and... 2. ... will have very weak shield-shaving, forcing you to turtle even harder. Luckily characters like Gloria and Shana help Hikari a lot (allowing you to cheat death, have more SP, etc.), but on more developed accounts this just isn't a good justification for his overall utility. The one exception that we mentioned is a hypothetical fight with constantly swapping/locking physical weaknesses or a Wave fight with a variety of weaknesses. (but there's a much better solution for this, which we'll elaborate on in the next episode) On Hujheb + Ochette: We recorded this segment before Nier 2.0 came out, and Dagger comps are now the strongest overall after Tiziano, especially in Solistia. (We'll elaborate on why in Pt. 3) Keep in mind that which comp is more optimal will still be fight dependent and the top 3 of daggers, bows, and axe are all very close and have their own advantages. Some of the details on Hujheb's usage were lost as Dreamt had to cut a lot of stuff out, so I'll elaborate more here. Hujheb is actually a bit trickier to use than Castti because while he can both operate as your main carry and support, it is difficult turn order-wise for him to do both. He has A LOT of high utility moves he really wants to use. You can be safe to expect that bows will become even stronger once some of his burden is lifted either by an old unit 6-star update or a new bow user joining their ranks. His pull priority is unaffected, as his shelf life will be undeniably long, and bow comps are already incredibly strong despite some ease-of-use limitations currently. For now you can use setups such as: 1. Solon Ochette and use Hujheb ult t1 of break w/o extension acc. (for faster one-break clears) 2. Solon Hujheb and use Ochette purely as breaker and secondary dps. (theoretically higher potential b/c still a lot of hits and you can stack so much cap up for his 9-hit). Worry less about turn extensions for himself since you'll have lucetta behind him for buffs received. 3. TP skill-Self pot up Hujheb by himself with a backpack, and Solon Ochette 2nd turn of break. Ideally you'd want Camilla here to help extend Ult Bow Damage Up starting 2T before break. You can use Castti's EX skill here to guarantee crit over break for everyone. (Among other variations) On Isla: In the video we talked about how Isla buffing comes at the cost of an inability extend Chomper to 2T (only available with Mabel/Lucetta) However, I believe this was missing the bigger picture. Instead we should view this limitation as a strength because Isla can buff one of your two DPS carries while you pet stack with Mabel/Lucetta row partner on the other. The increase in buffs that Isla provides the carry who is not being pet stacked will allow you to push two different DPS carries closer to their raised damage caps. (For example, in a fire comp you could Self-Potency up with Osvald + Isla, and Pet stack + double solon Frederica over break, using Neha to extend Isla's ult buffs on Osvald) On Osvald + Electroshock: In the video we mentioned how Osvald can't apply Electroshock until T5. This isn't entirely accurate as he does have a 1-star 1-hit Lightning skill unrestricted which inflicts 2T of Electroshock. Using it in the absence of Nivelle does come with a lot of downsides though. Because Osvald is one of your main carries, you probably don't want to make him faster than most of the support units around him, but Electroshock inflicted by either his 1* Lightning or his 5* + Concentrate only has 2T duration, resulting in very limited usage since if he applies it near the end of the turn, you can practically only enjoy it for the next turn. (de facto 1T duration) This is especially problematic because Osvald has many other useful moves such as his ult, 3-hit AoE/3-hit RT moves, as well as his EX skill. Re-application using a 1x lightning skill that doesn't break well by itself makes the entire process a bit self-defeating, and it'll make you miss out on one of the most broken aspects of Electroshock comps, which is its ability to keep breaking the Enemy within a single turn. Nivelle skirts past all of this because his move that casts the electroshock status is 3-hit, and he can stack it quite easily if needed. (one of his passives is ailment extension which makes this a 3-turn duration) He can also help pair with Osvald to cap active Lightning res down, cap 30% active lightning damage up in a single move, while capping/extending Mdef as well. He provides 20% Frontrow passive Elem. Att up while there is a shocked enemy, and can use his ult for very respectable damage. On Ogen: We forgot to go over Ogen's rehab ability, which functions identically to Alfyn's. This is another powerful utility that can really come in handy in ailment-heavy fights (that aren't super-ailments) It can be quite useful in addition to his other support abilities, giving him up to four useful actions even if the fight is not weak to Ice. Cheers! -Prim

Edit: Osvald can shock using his 1 star skill, but it doesn't effect where Nivie or him ended up. Sorry for the long wait, I hope you guys enjoy! This is part 2 of 3, part 3 (the finale i promise) will be out in 2-3 weeks. This is going live along side the 10 year anniversary of this channel, so thanks for the love and support over the years! :)

I’m confused about everyone saying that Ochette has bow resistance down. Am I missing something? I don’t think I can find the free passive bow resistance down in the spreadsheet. Sorry for the confusion.
@DreamtOf8 ай бұрын
Haha you are not alone, for some reason who ever edited her section for 6 star hid it in the bottom right corner. At 6 star, her recast break passive also gives 15% bow res down, meaning that if shes holding zaanta's a4 or her own a4, it caps it to 30%. I believe one of the 4star a4s also gives 10% on break, so even f2ps can get 25% bow res down, which is more than enough.

Why not makes coct tier list?
@DreamtOf8 ай бұрын
Because in a world where you had every unit, you would make use of 90% of the cast at some point. Based on that a fights weaknesses are and what units are released, every single fight has a best in slot team unique to that fight. So instead of a tierlist, we talk about how to best use your rubies to make as many of those teams as possible.
