Memories, Black wood engineering, years ago were you backed across the road i would go on down to the end of the road and back in offside to the cast material in, tighter than my brother-in-law to back in, did they cast ballast weights for forklift trucks. For many years as a steering wheel attendant from 1973 to 2014, I never did a lot of box work, I was a bulk tipper at that time. Well done chap i enjoy watching and doing the miles with you.

Like many HGV drivers your behavior on the the road is first class, I admire your ability to handle tractor and trailer with such ease in often difficult situations seeing such blogs must show the average driver why we should respect you and your and the majority of your colleagues.

Enjoying the video Martyn. When my hubby worked at Shell Chemicals in Carrington, Manchester, he was on security, and no matter which road you used to drive onto the site, there was always pictures of cameras with a line through them, which obviously means no cameras allowed. Also, because of the nature of the site, there were no naked flames allowed, so workers were not allowed to carry matches or lighters on their person. They would have to hand them in to the security lodges, and they would collect them on their way out. If anyone was caught with any on their persons (security were allowed to do random searches), the worker would be immediately dismissed, no questions asked. Also, the site had their own fire engine and ambulance for emergencies, and they and security were one of the few vehicles in the country who used blue lights and sirens on their vehicles which they could use on public roadways. Whilst you were being searched at Checkpoint Charlie🤣, you could have asked them. Security know all the rules. You would know then whether it was ok or not to film.

Loving the mid week vlog Martyn👍🏻…also DAFs do oversteer easily compared to the Volvo so don’t beat yourself up to much about that reverse (Claire will probably do that for you 😂)…really enjoying you doing container work,I’ve always steered away from it but you never know now 👍🏻hope you and Claire had a great relaxing weekend…safe travels to you both

Yeah Caerphilly County Borough Council where me and Martyn lives demolished them as they had the 2 highest traffic pollution in the UK outside London. I’ve past there for years when visiting my sister in Caerleon.
