The target is only 13yards away but at 30yards it's just the same. Don't forget the Hatsan needs time to become accurate, about 1000 or more pellets. If your BT 65 is not to accurate after that time,maybe you have to much tension on the hammerspring. You can try by reducing the power of the hammerspring to make the rifle more accurate. Just turn the allenbolt (6mm) in the back 2or3 turns counterclockwise. Good luck

Hi there. Thanks for the video. Your regulator is not working properly with the o-ring installed. It might appear that way but the extreme spread is massive for a huma regulated gun. The reason it was wasting so much air before is because your hammer spring needs to be tuned to the regulator. Otherwise the plenum inside the regulator will empty completely and without any air inside to force the valve shut the valve will stay open for much longer than it needs to, in part because the piston is too heavy in relation to the new, lower pressure.

I have a Hatsan AT44 long 6.35 with 57 joules fource and i just shoot directly from the bottle using a regulator witch allow me to regulate the pressure from 140 to 200 bar. That way looks more efficient to me so you dont lose the high velocity witch is verry inportant for long range.

Did you leave the brass cap open 0.05mm or did you close it??So it can vent?? I leaved it open.

So, is the shot count or "use able shots" still only 27 after installing the regulator? Thanks for sharing this very detailed video, AGW.:-)

What is the speed in the foot pounds I guess this is a foreign video
@pullfan2362 жыл бұрын
278 mtr/sec is 912FPS that's feet par second and not foot pounds that's energy

Thank you I can figure out the foot pounds from there

Great video and useful too! I am going to fit a Huma regulator in my Hatsan AT44-10 Tactical .22 and was wondering whether I should also leave the O ring on the valve as you have suggested against the instruction advice to remove it and leave a tiny gap between the valve and air tube tightening . . . Please let me have your views which I would appreciate a lot

I sold my BT 65 SB two years ago because the airgun didn't satisfy me whatever I tried to make it shoot better at longer distances. Instead of the Hatsan I bought a Kalibr Cricket .25 That airgun is regulated from factory, has also a sound surpressor build in and shoots a lot better at 100yard. But there something what I do remember of the Hatsan is that you can ajust the hammerspring with a allanbolt at the back of the action.I think that the AT44 has the same possibility to turn the allan bolt clockwish (more power) or counter clockwise (less power) The only thing you have to do to reach that bolt is take the stock from the barrel and push a long allan key size 6 millimeter in the bolt. It worked on the BT 65 to make it better to handle. In your case with the Huma regulator install it like they suggest at first. If it doesn't satisfy you just then try something else. You're free to make your own desision what's best and how you install the regulator. Either way what you do you can't damage your airgun by leaving the O ring in the cap. If they suggest you to drill a hole in the air reservoir near the endcap to let the leaking air escape between the 2 O rings, be carefull with that. I know some regulators work better when you do that but I'm not a fan of that option. Good Luck

+pullfan236 Thank you once again and I really enjoyed watching your videos. I watched both power tuning videos from Rick at Airgun Experts - AirgunWeb from America and he clearly shows that turning clockwise with a 6mm Allen wrench increases the power on BT65 and turning the same hammer tensioner clockwise with a 4mm Allen wrench on the AT44-10 TAC will decrease the power - that is why I was confused!
