Yeah not sure how we got away with that technicians have been brought in to try and figure it out and they have said that it is not possible to sync this system for some reason can’t remember why

I’ve always wondered what the point of outside horns are for. I get it if they are for a notification of a fire suppression system discharge. I guess they are mostly telling you not to enter the building? And it seems only schools have them outside.
@nics-systems-electric2 жыл бұрын
Because it’s a roof top basketball court and in order to evacuate you have to go into the building
@TheJakeman7892 жыл бұрын
@@nics-systems-electric ah makes sense. But what’s interesting is all the schools where I live don’t have that, and they have outdoor horns around the whole buildings.

Hey Pickle please respond... Been watching your vids for a few months now they've been great for someone like me who's new to the fire alarm industry. I believe I watched one of your videos a while back where you went over your fire alarm key collection but I can't seem to find it on your channel now? Wanted to view it again. Is there any way you can re-upload it or give me the unlisted video link? Thanks!!

Do people who pursue this line of work usually attend some form of technical college before entering the field? Or is it more apprenticeship oriented? Also, do you plan on pursuing this as a career? Great content btw!

@@nics-systems-electric In Canada, Electricians who have their fire alarm licence too make big $$$ and you seem to already have a good grip on this stuff I would def think about it! I can see you being very very successful in both fields

Not required very many places the new addition has a horn strobes though just not the old section which was built in 2014/2015 so would’ve been based off the 2012 code cycles
