At the hospital I work at. We just have flashers and broadcast a series of chimes. The sequence tells you what floor the fire is on. After that we broadcast over the PA, “Facility Alert, Fire Alarm [Floor and Level where it is located]” If it’s a drill. Then after a few minutes they will broadcast overhead “Facility Alert, Fire Drill [Floor That was part of the drill] Cancelled/All Clear/Has ended”

I know these are wheelock alarms sideways but the pull station is a simplex T bar also thats cool the doors close behind when the system activates i think its used as Fire Shutters

I bought I simplex addressable t bar on eBay and I got it wired it to a sounder. And I just found out that you need a panel to use a addressable pull station but I don't have a panel. My Addressable one has no strict board, so I don't know how to change it too conventional. Please help me. Btw I love your vids.

I wish that all fire alarms sounded like this instead of those freaking blaring fire alarms that go BAAAAAH BAAAAH BAAAHH in my ears lol. At my school, we had a recent fire alarm, and i tried to not cover my ears, but yeah they are ear piercing. I remember at an old school I was at, some mean teacher told me I didn't need noise cancelling headphones for fire alarms. She didn't understand I had autism. And was sensitive to sounds. I'm in a better school though that is meant for disability kids.

same thing happened to me and I had great teachers some knew autism as i was in special ed and my mom wrote in my IEP to have me removed from the building prior to any fire drill from 1st grade to middle school, and to my surprise they decided to not follow my mom's request, even in Jr/high and high school my aide also didn't follow it, and now have PTSD because of that.

Wish my school was like that! My school is like bzzzzzzzzzzzzz and beep beep beep. Wheelock 7002t-24s and system senser spectraalerts. Loud! Though we had a false alarm and since they had trouble resetting it, we stayednoutside for 30mins just hearing buzzing and beeping noises!

@catwithabat7163 no that's unsynced strobes but even then you'd need quote a bit of unsynced strobes next to eachother to cause any reaction

@@catwithabat7163 Private mode buildings are places set to only alert the employees of the building about the emergency. They consists of chimes or speakers that play a chime tone.
