Hi, my son's has got into US fire systems since watching your videos. I've got him a Simplex 4903 9144. It has a transformer and a capacitor and it looks to me like it needs 25V audio signal. What do I need to make it sound like in your videos? Do US control panels have an audio signal output? I'm in UK. Thanks so much for your help. Andy

Hi Andrew, Be careful with purchasing simplex devices. They can often be difficult and require extra parts in order to work. On the bright side, I believe that model of alarm is free-run and should work fine. To make the speaker work, (assuming you don't have a voice evac panel) you'll need an amplifier with an audio source. I have a whole ring of keys. Sometimes not sure which is the correct keys. I have a 217 key that I recently broke. Would like to know which one that went in. Some of the similar ones should take the same key. Nice collection of parts. The key to the older equipment is getting harder to get. I am just glad most of the keys have remained the same.

Great video. FYI, the Gamewell/FCI pull station at 5:47 is actually made by Signal Communications (SigCom) in Woburn, MA. These can be branded under many different names as is the one you have, and can be single or dual action, toggle or momentary switch and can include a glass bar visible through the open window below the T-handle.
