Because of my experience with my husband’s journey with pulmonary fibrosis, I absolutely agree with what you’re saying David. Luckily, since he had a world renowned PF doctor at a PF care center, my husband started pulmonary rehab very early. He stuck with it for many years with a few breaks in there. Unfortunately COVID came and everything shut down. By the time the rehab was opened again my husband’s lungs were too bad to continue. Keep up the fight for these changes David - you’re absolutely on the right track.

After COVID-19, my Dad had to wait 3 years before a doctor referred him to pulmonary rehab, which helped him more than the medications he was taking for those 3 years.

QUESTION On top of bronchiectasis, the hospital found that i have separated abdominal muscles which go up into a point. They told me i would not survive surgery. Am i just doomed then.? I a a slim 70 yr old who walks 45mins on the treadmill daily but have to use oxygen whilst doing this. What can i do please as this hernia pushes everything making my breathing worse.
