Excellent comparison. I have both and concur with your assignment. With a little practice, I have found creating or recreating characters from you favourite movies or television shows is done easily enough.

Thanks for your comment! I agree by the way, I just think it is a little easier with Pulp Alley.

Excellent video as always, very informative.I have both systems and like both.I agree Pulp Alley easier in some respects but think both are well worth having.in fact with both of these you can play just about anything you want, any genre and with whatever miniatures you have, the both companies have some great miniatures also. Enjoy your videos very much Ron 👍👍

Have you tried Two hour Wargames Larger than Life? I think these dont get the credit they deserve being a more co op and solo friendly system.

I have not. I am working on Two Hour Wargames Long Rifle though for French and Indian war. Been delayed by Brigade Games' delayed Kickstarter. I have tried Planet Smasher Games solo game Perilous Tales which is great, though present;ly kind of limited to pulp horror.

@@CryHavocWarGaming Larger than Life is basically the same mechanics that all THW use but with extra tables for making a "campaign" type game premised on the idea of making an adventure film much like 7 TV

I might have to give it a look!

Sounds like pulp alley would gets you more bang for the buck. 7tv is definitely a nicer looking product, but seems like you’re buying a new box just to switch themes.

I think that Crooked Dice is reconsidering this themselves. They are doing another box (80s I believe). Otherwise they seem to be leaning to smaller supplementals. Pulp Alley isn't is pretty but it is crazy versatile with very little investment! Looking forward to the Modiphius stuff by the bye!

Pulp Alley all the way. 7tv is fun, but just doesn't lean into the flexibility.

Pulp Alley is the most flexible game I have ever played.
