I bought ns 200 12th Feb... I was very skeptical about buying this bike... I had two choices rtr 200 and ns 200.. I wanted to buy rtr but it was missing sixth gear and liquid cooling and less bhp.. Still I made my mind to buy to buy rtr200 and suddenly I got to know that 2017 edition of ns 200 is available at a dealer nearby my place.. so I thought of having a look, although looks can be subjective but trust me when I looked it first time I changed my mind.. the new colour theme (I bought red with Matt great) is stunning.. the backlit switches looks cool, multicolored instrument cluster is awesome and the best thing I liked was there is no silencer(it is present but has been put under the engine so not visible) which makes this bike looks fabulous.. So, just an advice to all who are planning to buy a new bike and confused between rtr 200 and ns 200 don't go only by specs have a look of both the bikes and trust your eyes..😀

Hi Varun, I haven't check the mileage as yet, however it looks it is somewhere around 30. power/riding comfort is good. Since my odometer reading is only 175 as of now, I dont push engine too much... the only thing I can tell you is lookwise it is 10/10

Nice review, Dino. I've put exactly 345 KMs on my Pulsar 200 NS 2017 (Mirage White). I just wanted to share my opinion that the NS has really really good mid range. The ride quality is excellent. I don't really have a comprehensive opinion on RTR but I've ridden my friend's RTR a few times and I really missed the 6th gear on the highway. Where as cruising around 80-90 on NS feels so relaxed and comfortable. The engine feels as refined as it can be. For the mileage freaks, I've ridden ~40km on highway and rest in city (Kanpur). And the fuel efficiency is 39kmpl and this is of course before the first service. Also, two things I personally like more on the RTR is the quality of fiber and materials used and, of course, the exhaust note.

Rajesh Gubbala bro been using a rtr 160 the 2012 model till date and it lasted quite long. moreover there aren't any major issues in my bike now also just a time to time service required. so rtr is what i would choose. but also seen a friend using a pulsar ns200 for 5 years and he says it works just fine.

I personally would choose NS 200 , because inspite of having abs option RTR abs variants still aren't available , NS 200 now has abs with a massive 300 mm front disc , liquid cooling , better seats , highly refined engine and of course cheap and good spare parts availability

It depends on your height and build as the only problem a beginner faces is the seat height or the weight of the bike (150cc or 200cc power really doesn't matter much for beginners in these segments ). If you are tall , you will be comfortable with most bikes but if you are short then look for a bike which has a low seat. Cheers!!

Hi Dino, Is there any Bike in India which is a jack of all trades? Good built, Vibration free or very less vibration, comfort for rider and pillion, easy in city and stable in the highway, refined and reliable engine, decent mileage, easy to cruise at 90 to 100, Good tubeless tyres and breaks and not too heavy. I'm going to complete 50000 kms on my Honda Trigger. she did well ,but vibration is something which was spoiling the fun every time I rode her. I think the time has come to think about a new and most importantly vibration free motorcycle. Your advise much needed

both are good bro, very hard to choose one, better to test ride both and go with what your heart tells you to go with. personally i like 200 ns better looks wise and ns offers better top end performance. other than that rtr 200 gets a gem of an engine.

Instead of saying just positive things about the both bikes.. Just say ok guys this bike is better that the other one.. Plus when i watched your gixxer sf vid back in time.. (After watching hundreds of gixxer sf reviews before) i was expecting you to comment on the problems like crappy headlight, hard gears, useless pillion seat, heating issues.. @ Dino Sir, does the new NS200 have vibration issue beyond 4000 RPM like the previous model? And your opinion which 1 is more smooth & stable in 3 digit speed ( RTR or NS)?
