Love your videos - Can you just tell me how my Pulsar Telos XP50 connects to the StreamVision 2 app when you're in the field and there isn't wi-fi? Is it just using the cellular phone signal? Thanks!

No phone signal or external wifi is involved - Honestly if you were on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean it would work! It's just your your Telos and phone communicating with each other.

I have an xp38 and I have tried everything. It will not connect to the device using stream vision. It has always worked in the past. It just spins and spins and never connects

That sounds like a Helion?? I'd recommend you delete the app and start again. @@thomasjacksltdthermion xp38. Uses Steam Light 1, I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times. Then I have reset Thermian and cleared memory several times. iPhone 12, iOS 17.7.1. It says it has weak security and then just thinks about connecting and never connects.

@@BoarsAllDay Try connecting your device again, then in your phone settings... - Click on your Thermion's WiFi network - Click the ( i ) icon - Click 'Forget This Network.' Once you've removed the Thermion's WiFi network, reconnect it to your phone. You will need to re-enter the password.

There is a Wifi symbol at the middle of the bottom row on the xm30F device I just purchased. There is a "?" in the wifi symbol. The xm30f doesn't seem to connect. What am I missing?

Hi David, Thanks for your question. Along the status bar at the bottom of the screen you will see a Wi-Fi icon. When it has a line though the icon, it means the Wi-Fi is switched off. When you see the Wi-Fi symbol with three bars ascending, it means the Wi-Fi is in the process of connecting. When, as you are seeing, there is a “?” next to the Wi-Fi symbol, this means the Wi-Fi is switched on but not connected. When there is a phone symbol next to the icon, this means you are connected. thanks for your video. My iPhone won't connect to the Thermion 2 XP50 wifi. it just sits there trying to have a connection. I have tried Airplane mode. I have tried on my iPad too - same issue. I have deleted app too. I am a bit reticent to do a factory reset of the Thermion as I would think I lose my calibration etc,?

Don't worry -A factory reset will still keep all your Zeroing profiles. You will not lose them. How far do you get with connecting your Thermion?

After doing the new update on the Telos XP50, when i put wifi ON, when the menu on the Telos shuts down the wifi is OFF.. so i can’t conect it any more. Please help me..

Go back to the start in trying to connect: 1. On your Telos: Turn on WiFi (in settings) 2.In your phone settings: Switch WiFi network & enter the Telos P/W 3. Still on your phone, open the StreamVision2 app & connect to your Telos. I've checked a Telos here and it's working OK, so I hope that helps.

I tested all i could find. Had contact with Pulsar self. Only way to get WIFI on is to put the cable in and “charge”, only in this case is the wifi on. Bummer for such a expensive item. If i would know this 2 weeks before I would have both Hikmicro..

My XG50, newest firmware connected without problems hours ago, but now the device just switches off the WiFi when I exit the menu.

Do a factory reset on your device. You'll find it under the COG options within the main menu. Also it would be worth selecting the stronger signal of 5GHz in the WiFi options.

In my particular case I found out that it seemed to switch off WiFi automatically while under 15-10% of battery, so switched off - removed the battery and recharged it fully direct with cable. Worked perfectly without reset to factory and format 😊👌

Or, if it was a "bug" or glitch, connecting it to laptop as a hard drive to access media, could potentially solve it as well 👍

@@jellybeanjagger6775 Ah yes it will do that when the Wifi is on because of the additional power that needs. If you turn the WiFi off it'll keep going... or as you found - stick in a spare battery. Glad you managed to worked it out.

Hi, I have the xp50 pro and a s24 ultra phone, the pulsar will connect But it's seriously lagging it takes upto a minute most times for the live images to come to my phone even when they are next to each other, please is there anything I can do to stop this

In main menu, click on WiFi Settings and change the WiFi band from 2.4GHz to 5GHz - the signal isnt as strong (so keep the phone close to the unit) but it is around 3x faster. If that doesn't work and you've tried everything else in the video see if your thermal will connect to a different phone - to narrow down what's going on.

@@ukthermal1695 I guess you have an older thermal device then, like a Helion? One other thought - If you're using your thermal where there may be interference from other WiFi networks / phone signals... test it out well away from any likely interference and/or turn off mobile data on your phone.

StreamVision1 devices can be a bit trickier but it will work. There's a chance it's to do with your phone, so try connecting it to another phone or tablet. It's also worth starting from scratch on your phone; deleting StreamVision1 and loading a new version of it, then following this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHuteYakgql3o5I

Did all that. Clear cache and data, reinstall, factory reset cam, airplanemode, whatever I do, no luck on my Nokia X20 running Android 14. Pity. (Helion XQ28F) pity pity pity.

If it's an option, try connecting it to a different device - either a tablet, or a friends phone with the StreamVision app (making sure it's the original version of the app, NOT STREAMVISION2). I appreciate it's not ideal but it could help establish if it's a problem connecting to your phone / Android v14, or something going on with the Helion.

@@Erik_B Brilliant. Persevere with your phone . And don't forget you can connect it to your PC with the cable to download any videos / photos.
