Update: I opened the Pulsar X2 Mini Boardzy Edition and applied some lubricant to the scroll wheel. I can confirm this has reduced the noise and the scroll wheel is much smoother to use. I made a short video on how to do this if anyone needs help with fixing this

I recently picked up an X2 Mini myself (red one) and I really like it, potentially new main. only problems I had was that it stutters and skips like crazy when the software isn't open (really weird) and double clicking issues (fixed by increasing debounce time) so there definitely is QC issues it seems. anyway nice review man! you deserve more subs 👍

One of the best thumbnails you've made so far, love how it looks like! and that scroll wheel qc issue is horrible god damn, I am lucky that the qc gods were on my side. I would also agree regarding the huano blue shell pink dot swap, easily one of the best mouse switch that I've tried in a while. Probably would swap the ttc gold in my viper mini to the Pink Dots too one day. Overall great review, love the new quality too!

That thumbnail took a lot longer than I would like to admit 🤣Unfortunately I was not blessed by the QC gods this time around but it can happen from time to time. Pretty sure it will be an easy fix and i was planning on changing the skates anyways. The Huano Blue Shll Pink Dots are honestly amazing. Might order some more in and put them in other mice I own they're simply that good! Which ones have you switched?

That thumbnail is worth every effort you put into it for real, it looks amazing. I haven't swap any to the huano blue shell pink dot yet, but I think once my darmoshark m3 review went live I'd probably swap the gm8.0's out for it

Good review. They switched the the TTC gold dust proof encoders on this mouse and it made the scroll wheel a bit more tuff and stiff compared to the older versions.

Thanks for your comment Liam! I opened the mouse up last night and was able to fix it with some lube. Now its not as loud and doesn't require as much force as before

I got the Premium Black X2 mini and I also have a bit of side to side play also when I unboxed the mouse my M1 was "floating" but I was able to fix that by reseating the button and now it's all good. I don't have the problem with the scroll wheel like you though mine is perfectly tensioned and sounds consistent no matter if im scrolling up or down. Just remembered I actually have a sound test on my channel if you want to hear.

Damn, that’s crazy! I have heard from a few different people about QC issues but it can happen from time to time. Glad you were able to fix it. I was also able to fox the scroll wheel taking it apart, applying some lube and placing it back in correctly. I’ll check it all the same though
