I like how the Viper Mini went from the best value/budget mouse on the market with the wired version, to a mouse that even makes Finalmouse say "Wait, HOW MUCH?" with this. @@vertuh9165 There are hundreds of countries, if you divide it equally then each country would only get around 20-50 units. Look at this way, Razer sells about 15 million units of the deathadder every year, this is only 1700 per batch. The main reason why the price is high is because the magnesium manufacturing is really tough and complex, which bumps up the QC process. This is also the first time a major company is doing magnesium mouses. If they can successfully master it, they can produce more and lower the overall price.

What they should have done is release it along side a normal version that isn't made out of Magnesium but still has the rest of the upgrades at a normal price. The problem is they went with Magnesium. The notoriously difficult to machine/work with material is probably 80% of why the cost is this high because other than that I'm not seeing anything ground breaking or amazing here. my viper mini cost me 5€ used and holds up till today without any issues(only the cable bothers me) ... why is the wireless version so expensive :c
@badseedtech Жыл бұрын
Because this is a small batch collector tier edition. There will be two other version released this year that should be easier on the wallet.

I have owned 2 vipers ultimates. And both of them after about 6 months , scolling down every now and then would do a click up before continuing to scroll down. Will not be buying another

Right now the non-1337 number version has a better QC, but still there are minor issues.

Magnesium alloy production is not that expensive. The pricing isn't fair in that regard. Although, the idea of using this material should become more prominent among manufacturers. For around $190 it would be a bestseller. But Razer is well known for overpricing their products. The lack of the onboard memory is a deal breaker for me. I hate using periphery software. A signature edition of a Deathadder V3 might get me really tempted, though.

Is the pulsar x2 comparable to the superlight or worth it? In have the superlight but I don’t feel the most comfortable gripping it
@badseedtech Жыл бұрын
Pulsar X2 > Superlight for me. Better shape for me by miles.

You can't sell the 4k dongle separately, it's locked to the signature edition.

No matter how much you do to make. design, paint a gold shovel its still a shovel.....there so much option in the market these days that the commercial brands dont have much advantage at all.....viper mini was a budget king razer totally missed the mark the fact that they put massive holes on the pam area shows they dont know what made og viper mini great shape

Those alcohol pads must be $20 added to the price plus the other accessories probably adds to the total price of the mice.
