I have been scanning vascular ultrasound for 20 years and until a past video of yours, I never knew I could see the vagus nerve. I have scanned it all this time and didn't differentiate the nerve structure. I looked at mine and of course it measures abnormally. I scan so many patients for that!

I just wanted to let others, who may be considering Prolotherapy, know that It is so easy and it was not painful. I had my first treatment and it was easier than dry needling therapy (which I’ve had in my neck and all over my body many times). Just an encouragement if you’re considering Prolotherapy, but scared it will hurt. It did not hurt, it was easy, it was quick, and I was only slightly stiff and very tiny amount of muscle tightness for a few days. 2 more treatments to go and I’m hopeful for my healing. Best to all of you. I know how hard cervical instability is to live with. Atlas orthongal chiropractor and Prolotherapy are changing my life for the better! Prolotherapy!

No typical chiropractic only temporarily puts things back in place whilst stretching the ligaments and causing the instability to become worse over time. A new kind of chiropractic is available called orthospinology. This is gentle and won’t make it worse but also won’t cause ligaments to tighten. Hope that helps.

Oh my gosh! That pulsating tinnitus is what I have had for years. They did a brain and head scan but could find nothing. I still have this but sometimes constant and sometimes I hear my heart rate in my head. I also have 2 herniated discs C4-6 and slight bulge at C2 that sometimes get pretty large. 9 years ago I was using a railroad bar at my job and chipping asphalt out of my truck and something snapped right under my occipital bone on both sides and I had a horrific burn. 3 hrs later my eyeballs started twitching while I was driving, went to ER they found nothing. For the next year every time I went shopping and would look left to right at the shelves I would get very dizzy and nauseous. Doctors still found nothing. I have spent thousands trying to fix this and now I have hypothyroidism, digestive symptoms, RLS and severe leg cramping at night, low back issues, hip issues, knees and feet. It slowly started at the top and worked it's way down. You have opened my eyes to other alternatives and things to have checked if I can find someone to see here in Arkansas. Thank you Dr. Hauser! I just wish our corrupt insurance organizations would cover this type of therapy.

The first time I heard my pulse was when I was swimming and wore a cap. When I took the cap off, it got quieter. I had every test possible and nothing was found. I have lived with it now for 15 years. At first I thought I was in imminent danger of a deadly aneurysm, but now I endure it. It seems to affect my hearing only when it masks sounds on a similar frequency.

I certainly got used to that fear, but it dissipated once I got tested and nothing was found, but that meant I would just have to live with it. I hardly notice it in the daytime as it blends in with whatever is going on. At night if it is bothersome I use "mindfulness." I breathe deeply and actually listen to the sound rather than trying to ignore it. How does a baby sleep in the womb while hearing the mothers' heartbeat? So you should see a doctor and get referred for hearing test, ENT, etc. I even had an MRI and CAT scan. Let me know how it goes! @@bartsimpson-k4i

Thank you for these videos I wish you were closer in Texas. No ortho wants to listen to cervical instability as an answer but I’ve had so many banal issues on top of other symptoms. One irritating and more frequent problem is Pulsative Tinnitus. Can you tell me please why I only get PT during REM sleep. When it wakes me up with a massive headache I can stop the pulsating sound after relaxing with a few deep breaths. My history is double thoracic scoliosis with Harrington instrumentation T2-L4 (1980) with DDD everywhere the fusion is not. Pretty much a hot mess. Thise rods are the bane of my existence for the last almost 45 years! Major throbbing in the mid-back where they join with hooks and wires (not medical screws). Every MD, Neuro, ortho… tells me I have to live with it. Getting desperate for quality sleep. Thanks for answering.

@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy 4 ай бұрын
It could be but a good first step would be to get an evaluation, with cone beam, neck vitals and ultrasound. This really helps give us the best understanding of what is going on and how severe the instability is. There are times where patients come into our office and only need curve correction, or recommend PT for a few months and getting re evaluated. It ultimately depends on the individual! We will say however that working on your curve, posture and making lifestyle changes is always beneficial, no matter the individual!

Get a referral from your doctor to see an ENT. I'm 25 and I starting having this issue in my right ear 8 months ago. They sent me for an MRI and MRA to make sure that I didn't have an Aneurysm or a benign cyst forming. All came back clear and I still have no idea what's causing it but it stops when I press on my neck. It was assuring though to rule both of those out.

You need an MRA because if it stops when you press on it then most likely it’s venous. Also if your scans come back clear have a interventional neuroradiologist read your scan they have a better eye for pulsatile tinnitus causes

I am currently visiting doctors for this but they are just treating my blood pressure and not testing. Which tests should i get done? My blood pressure was recorded high. I was put on Inderal (propranolol) 40mg (1/2 tab 20mg plus 1/2tab 20mg)by one doctor and Eziday (losartan potassium) by another. The tinnitus sound lessened though not completely gone. Its affecting my left ear. Its very distressing as it doesn't let me sleep. I got a carotid artery doppler done but it showed a plaque in right side carotid with 30 to 35 % obstructing but nothing on left side. The doppler result says nothing significant. But i am not satisfied. The tinnitus stops if i press behind the ear near around the mastoid and in neck near the internal juglar vein. How can i identify the vessels involved causing my tinnitus ? Should i get a Doppler done again? And CT or MRI? Which ones? Please advise. Thank you.

Can prolotherapy help cyclic vomiting syndrome?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy

Hi sleepy580- If the syndrome is found to be related to cervical instability, then it may be appropriate. A much deeper look into the case would need to be done to help determine the correct treatment.

I have learned so much from your work and informative videos in my hopes of curing my tinnitus. Thank you for that. What does it mean when the pulsing in my left ear stops when I ever-so-slightly touch any part of my lower jaw? Thanks again for being real and so informative. Peace, man. We do not take insurance however when you are checking out you will receive information if you wish to self submit to your insurance. We have had some patients who hear back from their providers and they end up covering it. It ultimately depends on your insurance.

What if MRI and CT Scan came clear?
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy
@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Жыл бұрын
Hi imarianalee3805- Like we discuss in many of our videos, we use dynamic diagnostics where the person is upright and in various positions where traditional MRI and CT are with the person lying still, and many of our patients previously had no abnormal findings on those tests yet are extremely symptomatic and have obvious abnormalities during dynamic tests. There is a place for traditional MRI and CT but we find that they are not very helpful in many cases involving cervical instability-related symptoms. That is why we developed a dynamic testing center at our clinic. Wish you all the best in health!

He also explains that we often see pulsatile tinnitus in patients with cervical instability. If this is something that you experience we would absolutely love to learn more about your case! This must be exactly my problem. I used to play the viola and one day I got pulsatile tinnitus on the left side. I went to an ENT and got an MRI but they “didn’t find anything” - they were just looking for big obvious stuff. I’ve had it since 2017? Just started playing again too.

Hello laviolist - sounds similar to other patients of ours! They visit many doctors and receive a lot of testing to hear that there is nothing wrong. So sorry to hear that you are dealing with this but it is great to hear that you are researching other options for treatment. Dr. Hauser wrote this article on Tinnitus if you'd like to take a look! www.caringmedical.com/prolotherapy-news/tinnitus-2/ If you would like to contact our office directly we would love to help you on your road to healing!
