I had my Styloidectomy on 10-23-24 and the neurosurgeon informed me that I had a very thick stylo-hyoid/digastric muscles that were compressing also. He couldn't shave the C1 where the jugular was being smashed into the C1 (between digastric and C1). He ended up cutting 2cm from the styloid and cutting the muscle near the impingement. I'm currently working on the other side of the head (left) where I have an arachnoid granulation blocking 50% of the Sagittal sinus. The plan is to get that blockage stented because I'm still having tension headaches, occipital, headaches, neck pain, headaches with aura, pulsatile tinnitus, ear fullness)/eustachian dysfunction, blurry vision, after image, sensitivity to light, nauseousness, clicky neck, my ringing/ tinnitus multiplies by 10 when I lay with a roller under my neck? I'm still very interested in coming out to Florida from Arizona and I've consulted with you folks and I don't want you to give up on me.... It's been awhile but I wanted to get the styloid and probably now resolve the blocked arachnoid granulation. Thanks so much for this series of videos it kind of explains me to a "T". I will stay in contact with you folks and hopefully you can plan a few days down there to get the initial testing. Thanks again!!

23M, I'm not an athlete but I like long distance running and it is part of me. I have osteochondritis dissecans in the upper and inner part of the talus in my left ankle, diameter no more than 1cm / 0.4 inches. The area is quite internal in the ankle and does not seem to take much load, in fact I can walk and I can still run without too much pain but unfortunately my joint snaps and gets stuck if I push too much with my foot or if I jump. The doctor told me that I will have surgery in a few months: I have to do the surgery to clean the wound, drill it to revascularize the bone and inject mesenchymal cells to stimulate bone and fibrocartilage regeneration. The orthopedist says that due to the symptoms I have and the diameter / location of injury I may be able to go back to running, but it is difficult to say for sure and he says I'll have to cut back on my mileage a lot I would like to be able to start running again, maybe with some precautions such as using uphill intervals instead of flat intervals, doing more strength training and slower easy runs I would like to know if there are examples of long distance runners who have managed to resume amateur running and even enjoy an hour of running without discomfort

My sister was being treated for sinus infection due to pain in the forehead from sept thru november. She was losing her hearing, and had pain behind her ear. Lost taste, and appetite all this time. She had cat scan, which came up empty. At the end of december she woke up with a droopy mouth. Then, a few days later, her eye was droopy. She was diagnosed then with bells palsy. She suffered a lot until she died that July. Of a stroke in the hospital. She was hospitalized due to kidney failure.

Hi doctor! While living in California, I was bitten by a tick on a hike and, not aware of the horrible things it could do to me in the future, I didn't feel anything (you know, young hood... strong!! lol), so I let it go and even forgot about it. Fast forward, 15 years later... I woke up one day with an electric shock within my spine and that's when I researched it and found out I had been infected by Lyme and was dealing then with its chronic aspects. I had to take about 6 months of antibiotics and now I take hydroxychloroquine daily and duly. So, in between those many years, I noticed many changes in my body and one of them was one side of my face different from the other, which was bell's palsy, now I know... Anyway, all that to say: be careful with a tick bite! Lyme is real and dangerous!!

I think this is what I have. I have seen many doctors and pain therapists. I have explained where the pain is on the interior and below the rt knee. No Doctor has attempted to inject the area you have described. It is always an injection on the outside of the knee or on top left and right. Had a MRI and that states superficial cartilage loss along the Central Trochlea without subchondral marrow edema.

BURSITIS SOLVED! After 2 falls in a short period of time, my right leg was completely stretched, I got swelling in my heel and a painful spot on the side. I went to an osteopath. He said that the joint had moved and was pulling the tendon and that caused the nerve in my heel to become inflamed. He put the joint back and adjusted my foot, I also bought insoles because I step on the outside edge of my foot first. I did alternating heating and cooling of my heel for 15 seconds, massage and applying comfrey ointment. The painful spot disappeared and the swelling is much less.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this but Danielle mentions in a hip bursitis that 90% of the time it is a ligament injury causing the pain, not actual bursitis. We definitely recommend resting and getting an evaluation as your pain is persistent.

Found your channel and I am wondering if my burning tongue may be due to my neck now. I had mouth cancer of the tongue last year and was treated with surgery and radiation therapy. My CT scan showed no disease but I continue to have a burning tongue. Sometimes it feels better than other times - I did notice this week that I have a yellowish spot near the front of my tongue and it is really sensitive. I also had a dissectomy of my lmyph nodes on the left side of my cancer. Could that be causing my pain? I was told it could be a vitamin deficiency as I am 20 lbs underweight from the radiation therapy. It has been about 5 months since I completed radiation therapy at the end of August 2024. Please advise.

Thank you so much for making this video Dr Houser! Can you think of any kind of imagery that insurance would cover that would show cervical instability? DMX is not covered. I have had my neck dislocated as a child & had several car accidents, the airbag gave me severe whiplash in Dec. of 2007 it took a year to get it checked out & diagnosed thankfully I was referred by my chiropractor. Plus I’m hyper mobile but I can’t do the thumb to the wrist so I didn’t get that diagnosis. Thank goodness that you are doing this KZbin channel or I would’ve never known. ❤❤

So I’ve honestly felt like I had lost hope and would be this way for life. Our local doctors have not even heard of pelvic floor dysfunction… not even the digestive specialist. I’ve done so many types of treatments, medications, and physical therapy. I’ve struggled with this for going on 5 years. Physically I can’t function. I’ve lost my life. I had to stop everything because I was in so much pain I couldn’t get out of bed or worse off the toilet. I have the urge to go yet can’t go no matter how hard I try. I feel like I’ve lost my life. I had to stop attending the gym, sell my car, leave my job, and even end a relationship because we were never on the same page sexually from my pain. If you do perform decompression surgery or have more knowledge I’d love to find out more. I feel so hopeless and it feels like it’s been forever. I’m only 31, but it has destroyed me.
