The reason why ADRs are never focused is because they are typically not a threat. However, in the right hands, they can be a massive threat, so it's kind of ironic.

There are 4 classes of Mech weights (as per FASA). Light: 15 - 35 Tons, Medium: 40-55 Tons, Heavy: 60-75 Tons, Assault: 80 to 100 tons. The WarHammer is a heavy mech and not a medium mech.

There are 2 classes of mechs(as per house Steiner). Atlas, and inferior designs.

@@Grimmwoldds That is because of the successor houses, House Steiner was the only one to have a mech factory still in operation that was tooled for assault mechs. In the Kerensky exodus from the inner sphere, the knowledge to design new mechs was lost to the successor houses which is why in the time since Kerensky left, there were no new mechs designed as they had to re-learn what was lost by reverse engineering mechs and even then, after hundreds of years, the only notable mech design to surface was the Wolfhound which was built exclusively by Morgan Kell of the Merc unit the Kell Hounds. The return of the clans brought a great necessity to field new mechs to combat the superior clan designs.

@@ArkLord001 You seem to have forgotten the Raven, Hatchetman and Cataphract*. All of which were designed before the Wolfhound. *Yes, I'm aware the Cataphract could be considered a Frankenmech.

@@KevinMurray242 if I recall correctly the hatchetman was already in service had entered service just after the exodus. The raven and cataphract entered service just as the clans came back. The wolfhound entered prior to the raven but was a primarily a mech only used by the Kell hounds. I should dig out tech readout 3025 which has the hatchet man in it assuming I can find it. The raven appeared in Tech readout 3050 if memory serves as did the cataphract. The wolfhound was somewhere in between. It's been some ~30 years since I last looked at those books so my memory might be off on the timeline...

Upgrate to light ferro, remove another 8 armor and you can fit another ton. for Target Computer 1, another ton of AMS ammo or something else
