Pulsejet fun - EMF Camp 2018

Some guys from Cheltenham Hackspace brought their experimental pulsejet along to play with.

pulse jets could be considered to be quite similar to organ pipes... just a thought there.

Oh yes, there's some very similar physics going on. I just wish I could design an organ pipe that's capable of quite the sound level and the bass resonance that this pulsejet had! It would be the sort of organ you might not want to stand too close to! :)

@@spungletrumpet ahh it'll be fine, just mount them pointing downwards, add some hydraulic actuation to tweak direction of thrust then you have a VTOL ZiL! now that really would be the world leader in pipe organ technology!
