I have an urge to get some kind of home organ, to do a similar project: - Connect keys, pedals, buttons, nobs etc. as input for a microcontroller, possibly arduino - MIDI output, to control external MID moduls. - keys and pedals as notes ch. 1, 2, 3 - buttons, noba, expression pedal, etc as CC or PC - make original sound benerator controlable by microcontroller and MIDI input If available - try to extract rythm/cords from built in module - rythms possibly to MIDI ch.10 - chords possibly as separate channel, or replace channel,

@@spungletrumpet I'd really like to know the sizes too, Just bought a use B10 with the same issue. Is there any reason to not weld the rings in place?

Over the years and around 7 Land Rovers later I just instantly change chassis (funds permitting) as you just yearly chase the rot. Great video though

You need feedback. The harddrive controller uses the sectors on the harddrive itself to know the position and speed of the head extremely precisely

I think you might be missing the point slightly. I already have proper laser galvos with feedback. This was just a bit of fun.

Just seen this great video. I MAY have a similar problem. Why not make the rings from a suitable plastic. Then the bronze is insulated from the alloy and the ring will not corrode?

I really enjoyed y our video , I have a Chinese 3040 cnc router which came with the Mach3 parallel port board, I have replaced the board with the Arduino uno plus the shield, the stepper motors have four wires . on the Mach 3 board the connectors coming from it to the drivers have three wire connectors to each driver and a four wire connector to the control output port which the machine cable plugs into . The arduous shield has a four wired connector for each driver so how do I connect the three wired connector to it . I know it will be hard to understand so I wonder could I email you some photos of my control box so you will understand better as I am desperate to get it going. Many thanks Ernest

Interesting video. I have just found 2 organs, both two manuals with the intention of combining them to make a 4 manual. Do you have any updates on your project? Would the arduino be powerful enough to handle the midi for 4 manuals and pedal board?

A very interesting video sir. Thank you for posting. I wonder if it might be possible to have a chat about your project as I too have recently finished a midi conversion of an old Wyvern Salisbury 2 manual instrument of about the same vintage. I'm currently running GrandOrgue with some free sample sets through a touchscreen but I would like to understand more about how you created your sample set to match the existing stops as that's exactly what I would like to do with mine. If you are agreeable, what would be the best way to get in touch? Best Regards, David

This one of those beautiful versions of this song I’ve ever heard. I’m not a musical expert at all, but it absolutely tickles my ears. What style would you call this? I think the rhythm is absolutely perfect. It ends crisply and doesn’t draw out like all the other versions I’ve heard. I hope my clumsy description makes sense Merry Christmas to you.!
