This week all my runs have been at a state park where the trees almost completely blot out the sun. It’s still very hot and humid, but the shade makes a huge difference.

Yep my favorite vest is the active skin 4 from Saloman. I use it every run no matter how long it is. Works really well .

Welcome to our weather since April Robbe... In the afternoon, you better be a little crazy to go on your run. I have the roads to myself!

I have had the foot pain in a number of carbon plated shoes. Sometimes just changing the lacing for more forefoot space does the trick, but shoes like the Adios Pro 2 and Fast-R 1 will just hurt regardless after a certain number of miles.

Hey! I owned a 2007 all black PT Cruiser lol sucked because it had no power steering, no A/C and lived in South Florida! 😰 Absolutely brutal! Lol good times

Could there be a relationship between the how great puma grip is and the bottom of your feet getting hot? Better grip means more friction, and friction creates heat. Just a science teacher wondering...

@@Believeintherun Yep :D I haven't run the trails at Fort Clinch but they host a 10k/30k/50k so there's plenty of trail if you're in need of shade. It's all covered under a nice tree canopy. And close to the beach.

Highly recommend going under the back gate at the end of 14th street and run the road back to the entrance, it's awesome

You can run on highline early in the morning when they open, I run there all the time to connect to little island and west side highway, you can run all the way to World Trade and Battery Park ! you can even do Hill Repeats on the little island, again if its early in the morning, High Line opens at 7AM and Little Island opens at 6AM, Best bathroom and water fountain stops at Little island !

What model running back did Robby mention. Been looking to get one at that model, and the price sounds good.

I think that most people are aware that some people may need assistance in this heat though most people probably think that you're nuts for running in it. If I see someone with a Garmin, I assume that they're a runner.

This heat is a genuine game changer for running. If you can survive. You come into the winter months with a whole new appreciation.

I run in the afternoon every day and the spring/summer miles definitely bring fall smiles! Always look forward to my fall 26.2 cause I know they will be phenomenal IF I can survive the summer. (I live in South GA, right by the FL/GA boarder) Hot temps and dew points always over 70F.

I have the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 2 and Deviate Nitro 2 and Fast R V1. In all midsole disappointing energy return. V3 in them sounds the same 🙄

Crazy. I have the Deviate Nitro elite V1, V2, Velocity nitro 2 and Deviate Nitro 2 and really love them all. Looking forward to Elite V3 for sure! Getting great reviews from all ShoeTubers.

Midsole is definitely different in the v3. I’ve done A/B comparisons with the v3 alongside v1 and v2 (as well as other shoes). V3 is definitely a step up. More to come. 😉
