I own quite a few pairs of shoes, the MB.02 for me is just simply AMAZING. Cushion is so comfortable, yet still responsive and bouncy (good for dunking), the traction is literally amazing, and the fit and lockdown feel top tier for me. But preference is different for everyone. I’m a 6’1” point guard and these outperform a lot of other shoes I own.

It feels slightly worse than the mb.01 a lot more bottom heavy but will be more durable otherwise still a decent shoe but defs better shoes out there

I feel there's a perfect sneaker to be struck between the .01 and .02. The 1st ones whilst looking great, I had issues with lock down on the logo section of the tongue and I feel this pair rectifies that. Would love to see a double stack nitro heel, single stack forefoot setup with less dense foam somewhere down the line. Padding on the upper seems less plush on .02

Just so anyone can understand how good these shoes are, my rotation for practice and games was kobe 6 protro and kobe 5 protro, stop... Until these beauties came out and I randomly got a pair to try. Now I do still use the Kobe's of course but man the mb.02 have definitely earned their respect and a place as a top3 performer imho.

That crispy feeling is something new but spot on. I've come to like that in the shoes. In my Kyrie 8s I really like that feel and I bet I will like these. Also I'm looking for more cushion, ALTHOUGH, I can understand less cushion for a better court feel for a point guard. The biggest; one of the biggest benefits for me is the traction going up the side of the upper. Lobe the heal counter as well. Great review my man.

I’ve had the MB.02 for a little over a month now and I gotta say these shoes are some of the best shoes I got. They’re pretty tight to start, especially around the ankle but the more you play in them the more loose they get and despite how they look, they’re pretty light and soft on your feet. I really like the feel of them, although they do take a lot of playing to break them in, and the ankle problem is still kinda a thing for me(maybe I just tie my shoes too tight😂). Also the grip on the shoes is A1. But I give them a 7.5/10
@horisimp4079 Жыл бұрын
That’s actually something I’ve been worried about, just got them and they feel a little stiff around the ankle, was worried if I’d be able to really use them in games. So they do loosen over time/after used a bit?
@horisimp4079 Жыл бұрын
At the same time I find it way too tight when I put the laces in the last hole
@ThePeachTube Жыл бұрын
@@horisimp4079 yes they do loosen up after playing in them. Your whole foot will feel pretty comfortable but still just a bit tight around the ankle, but maybe I still outta break them in some more. Or like I said, maybe I just tie my laces too tight.

Totally agree. I found on the indoor court, I had to wipe my feet constantly. I had trouble with my step back because my foot kept slipping due to no traction. The lock down and the cushion was awesome. I usually ball in the KD 14, PG 6, and the Lebron Next Gen.

MB.02 feel great to me, only real issue id agree with is the air bubble in the toe box which gives you the false impression that you could’ve went half a size down. Traction was great, i thought it was an improvement over MB.01 cushion but id definitely like more court feel. Excited for some lows to come out in the MB.02

I just tried them on at footlocker and my true size is a 13 but they didn’t have them so I fit a 12 but it was to tight on my toes. The only thing I hate is they stop half sizes at 11.5 so I ordered a 13. Let’s hope they fit well

My only negative for these is the material on the forefoot. It crunches up when walking and playing but maybe once they break in it wont happen. If they used the ripstop like materials from the 1s then there would be no issue.

@blackwallstreet6610 Жыл бұрын
This confirmed my biggest issue, the thick sole. It's too high off the ground, and if youre shifty you're going to roll your ankle, like Melo did. Even he went back to the MB. 01 when he returned from a non contact ankle sprain for a month. I tried them in store and I felt like I was on platforms, which is crazy because this year the LeBron and KDs have great cushion and low profile, so how did puma drop the ball , no pun intended
