+Ale Mercado No, its because they normally present a heavier pack then their oponents, most SH sides work on areas outside of the scrum such as passing, running etc which is why my SH tight fives aren't considered as good as for example NH sides where the scrum is just as important as any other skill, most NH sides play power ball with brute for and SH sides do more running out on the wing etc... Argentina or the exception in that they have a good scrum but at the time this was made they didn't have the running skill most SH sides had.

+Samuel Scarisbrick Sorry but you're completely wrong. Mostly of the teams the Pumas faced have heviers packs of forwards than them, in SH and NH. Take a look of some matches and you'll see the diference.

+Ale Mercado I was referring to the time period this game was played in, in 2010 till 2014 the Argentine tight five were considered the best, whilst a large portion of that was down to technique it was mainly down to the weight difference, in this case as best I can find out there was a different of about 75kg between Argentine front 3 and the NZ front three, whilst SH teams have made vast improvements to their tight fives as we saw at the RWC in the case of the much improved Aussie Scrum, at the time the fact remains that the reason the Pumas Scrum was quite dominant was mainly due to weight and/or in this case it was because Aus and NZ didn't place as much value on the Scrum as SA, Argentina and most NH teams do.

I think AB's coach just used the opportunity for training more players against so good scrum. Others did the same. To the right time domination evaporated, and AB, Wallabies and Boks won easily their games vs Argentina while WC-2015.

In all these scrums the puma TH and Puma hooker are boring in the AB hooker - the Puma scrum is driving towards the left hence their front angle on the AB hooker - should be penalties to the ABs!
