Aight, gonna ask the obvious question, Talon Claw, SBL, and Pump Skewer. Stress test. DO IT.

I don’t have all three of them to do the test with but I would assume that the SBL would fair the best with its upgraded internals but the pump skewer is also fairly sturdy

That we can cap out 250 FPS with relatively compact springers (IE: Sillybutts reports 260 is pretty doable without doing anything excessive) is nuts for the context of competitive play. Of course, things like the Lynx already exist, but at this point there's not much practical reason to use a full-sized Caliburn for competitive play anymore (you get shorter primes -> higher practical rate of fire, and same performance within the context of the format) With flywheel velocity caps being lowered in FPT other designers and I are gonna have to seriously look into bumping up flywheel accuracy to keep up. I will be experimenting with bearing "scars' firsthand and some other preliminary results are promising.

Awesome video. I’d love to get one of the high-powered hobby-built springers. I love the ease of use of flywheel blasters, but flywheelers don’t hold a candle to springers for accuracy.

what spring is the strongest offered in the kit? im in the posess of ordering a skewer and i want the strongest spring. im very new to this and i dont know. it will just be me plinking at home and i want the hardest hitting spring i can get.
