Pump In Style: Troubleshooting: Low or No Suction

This pumps face plate comes off constantly. It has caused us nothing but problems since we got it. It’s a known problem so please tell me why it has not been recalled and pulled from the shelves ? The frustration this pump has caused for my wife when she has a new born and is not getting sleep to start with and then thinking she is not producing because it won’t pump has been a nightmare.

I have the same issue. It is now taking me at least 2 1/2 hours to pump. I'm exhausted and most nights I just want to give up and cry, but I want my child to have the benefits of breastmilk. Paying $250 for another pump is a lot especially during a pandemic where I haven't worked since February

What if you plug it in, turn it on, but nothing happens. What if you need to get into the electrical components to solve the problem?

What's that little yellow thing called that plugs into to get the suction going on the outside? If that makes sense

Thank you for posting this. I thought my pump was broken and found out I just needed to take a peek and reattach the plate on the front!!

Does the diaphragm look like it is lopsided when it’s turned on? Is it supposed to be pumping this way? Mine isn’t pumping as well on the left side, could this be why it feels like the suction isn’t even? I’m getting extremely frustrated with this pump.

Mine is also lopsided on the left side. The left side stopped pumping with pressure about 3 months ago. When I removed the plate it had the slit every mentions and the left side is lopsided

This helped me. The diaphragm inter the faceplate had a small rip in it. Now the question is how do I repair it?

I know this is old, but mine does too. I think this is a terrible product if EVERYONE has the same issues. There's a plate over it so it's not us mishandling the pump

Can someone please explain to me how milk is getting inside my breast pump box like the actual tan part on the outside has milk all over it and I can’t figure out why

Milk is probably getting in your tubing and you might have to wash them. That’s what the medala website says
