The philosophy really needs to change. All the rules of the league have been changed to favor the offense. Our Philosophy as Shannon said is 70’s - 90’s. Doesn’t mean we don’t play defense but you can’t stress the defense over everything else. It just doesn’t make any sense. I believe it is time to move on from Mike Tomlin but if Tomlin really became as Tate said a CEO and we had better coordinators and an improved offense at the QB position and the WR position and a better O Line then the Steelers could be a serious contender. I just don’t think Tomlin is really willing to relinquish control. That is why the change needs to happen. It’s gonna take a minimum of two seasons to fix this. It’s not going to be a quick fix. Unless we modernize our offense and score some points nothing is going to change. Having said all of that I am not sure the organization has come to that realization and that will ultimately determine where this franchise goes. It all starts with Art!

Tomlin is a huge part of the current Steelers culture problem. Hopelessly trapped in the old school mindset. The greatest franchise in NFL history is asleep at the wheel as the rest of the league passes them by.

Yup, Shannon keepin it ALLLLLL REAL!! Baltimore has fun playing football, they clickin on all 4 cylinders. The Steelers?? Ehh full of drama and finger pointing. This Steelers team cant wait to end their season and take their vacation. I love the black and gold, ALWAYS have but what i dont like is the people that are currently representing the Black and Gold! The entire team needs a reset and that includes Rooney. He was a spoiled child growing up and his father and grandfather would be extremely disappointed in him.
