Күн бұрын

G’day to you all,
If you love a good story or two, hopefully you’ll enjoy this! I visited and spent a night at Pumphreys Bridge, just east of Perth in the wheatbelt. On a lovely running river, this place has a fantastic history with quite a remarkable tale, spanning a 100 year period.
It was a pleasant night there and I enjoyed my time exploring and filming this one very much.

We have been on 15 camping trips so far this summer, it has rained at least one time on every trip! (every time i start to make a fire) Very wet summer here in the south eastern USA. Good video mate!! Love the way you make your videos, be safe and keep up the good work.

That was the times. My great grandfather died at the age of 35 in 1899 on Mounts bay road in Old Perth, died of pneumonia. left a wife with 4 children under the age of 7. Sad times. The family came to WA in 1875. One son with them, a daughter born on the ship (died at age 23) and a son born in Toodyay but his birth was registered in Bunbury (figure that out haha).

Try PINK onions, a bit hard to buy, but sweet.. a little balsamic vinegar to start then, as you suggest, brown sugar to caramelize. Also rocks from the skies: my home town of Glen Innes has association with the Guyra Ghost circa 1921.

Stayed there a few times. First time we stopped there the old bridge was still up. It was sad when it finally collapsed. Quite a story about the family it is named after. We do a lot of research into early European settlement and there are plenty of heartbreaking stories.

Hi Matt. Been watching your vids for a while now. Love how you promote WA. I see in a lot of your vids that when you go to "popular" places there always seems to be rubbish left by those who don't respect and appreciate what we have to offer here. Things will change as far as access to these places go if people continue to disrespect it. I have seen a couple of other youtubers promote reusable rubbish bags for people to use when they travel to these places. Just wondering if This is something you could promote on your channel with your own logo. Every little bit helps and hey, if it saves you from picking up the rubbish even better. Cheers mate and keep up the good work...

@westralianoffroad 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, I really appreciate hearing that, thank you. You highlight a very good point. I have taken some thought to promote a bit more on footage of how I keep my rubbish on board, store it and take it with me. I think you’re onto a good idea for passing the message on. I would love to have my logo on say, Drifta rubbish bags or something Ike that. See what the future holds. Thanks again mate.
