they are very bad for surfskating, too unstable in the back, shitty rebound and they shorten up the tail too much

If you remove the back truck and replace with a normal truck what does that help in?

you get a more stable back truck which help to impulse more power in the pumping when you go faster, the board will have also more grip

no, ma feci varie tavole con wheelbase corto, onestamente la hamboard mi sembra esagerata come prezzi. Fatti un surfskate o se vuoi il feeling del pescadito prendi un cruiser e mettici dei truck paris ..se poi aggiungi dei riser inclinati lo surclassi al pescadito ;)

How is the Major Arc holding up? Do you ride everyday on it? How long have you been riding with them?

no issue at all, but this one was the prototipe, now I'm using the definitive from a few months and it feel even better

@@SkateTherapy I been riding with the Curfboard trucks on my 42 in Loadedboards for over 3 years and love them for pumping and carving but I wear out the Agus bearing in them and they are not easily replaced. He glues all the screws in. These look like the closes to the Curfboards . With the right board and back truck it looks like it could work for pumping and carving without having to put your foot down to kick.

@@elielstarbright I'm very curious to see pictures of the curfboard inside, always wondered how long their bearings last, major doesn't have bearings, is very solid material and doesn't wear, at least no so far even doing freestyle. Is similar to curfboard being low in the ground, even lower, but curfboard pump easier, a very turny back truck doesn't help to build speed, but if you are very aggressive in the style you can.

they are still perfect, I just have too many boards and I enjoy more surfskate and dancing. I'm planning some new videos soon as I like them for off road on big wheels as they are fun to slide as I did in some old videos. Recently you can see them in some skate tours

Hola amigo felicidades por el video. Yo tengo un sidewinder igualito al tuyo Sand Edge y te voy a dar una receta que te gustará aún más el tuyo. Primero haz un agujero para disminuir la distancia entre ejes en la parte trasera y si quieres en la parte delantera también (para que lo fijes en los agujeros de una parte y taladres en la otra para que quede bien recto) usarás el agujero de dentro para haga uno mas mas adentro y se arreglara asi tanto en la parte delantera como en la trasera (resumen hara dos agujeros en la parte delantera disminuyendo la distancia entre ejes en la parte delantera y despues dos agujeros para disminuir la parte trasera. entre eje y resulto genial mis ruedas son de 66mm y no agarran y cambie los bujes por uno 92 de la marca Independent tipo cono y un buje mas blando tipo 88 cono tambien y ponga asi delante del skate el 92 duro debajo Cerrar a la tabla y el más blando cerca del suelo y en la parte de atrás, haz lo contrario del blando cerca del skate y el más duro cerca del suelo, los ejes se colocarán debajo del skate y no encima y así se hará más receptivo y un poco mas alto usaras dos bushings de 92 y dos de 88 (yo uso 92 y 95 porque tengo 100 kg) y vicio me parece light country la marca puede ser Venom o la que tengas. Hay algunos de Venom que tienen cuello, si funciona, creo que este será aún mejor (hay un barril con un cono por lo que he visto)

Translation: Hey man, congrats on the video! I have the same Sidewinder board as you, the Sand Edge, and I have a cool trick to make it even better. First, you need to make a hole in the back of the board to decrease the distance between the wheels. Then, use the inside hole to make another hole deeper, and this will fix both the front and back. This will make your wheels less grippy, and my 66mm wheels work perfectly now. Next, I changed the bushings for Independent brand ones, a 92 cone-shaped one and a softer 88 cone-shaped one. I put the harder one in front of the board and the softer one near the ground. In the back, I did the opposite, with the harder one near the board and the softer one near the ground. This makes the trucks go under the board instead of on top, which makes it more responsive and a bit higher. Finally, I use two bushings of 92 and two of 88, but if you weigh more, you might want to use harder ones. My favorite brand is Venom, but you can use any brand you like. Some Venom bushings have a neck, which works even better than the ones I have. Hope this helps you improve your board!
