Hi Issac, if you don't mind I have a couple of questions I would like to ask you. I'm so curious as to how or where do you store all of your holiday displays. You do such a great job decorating for all the holidays. I just can't imagine where you could put everything for storage. I was also curious if you are or were in the Military? When I watched this video when you had him put together before you added the foam it made me think of Slender Man. You should make a giant Slender Man that would be super creepy. Love your creativity and your displays for all the holidays are awesome. Keep up the fun and great videos. I enjoy them very much. Happy Falloween 🧡🤎💛🍁🍂🎃
@IsaacAlexanderDIY5 ай бұрын
@@meloneeleddington7664 Hi there! Thanks so much for the kind words-I'm glad you enjoy the videos! As for storing the holiday displays, it's definitely a challenge, but I’ve got a pretty good system with some storage units and a dedicated space at home. It takes some organization, but it’s all worth it for the final result. I built two large sheds, I have a tall deck that provides storage space underneath it (20ft x 10ft), a walk-in crawlspace, and an offsite large unit And yes, I was in the military as a Military Police officer. It was a unique experience, and I’m grateful for everything I learned during that time and grateful to have served with so many great people. I love the idea of making a giant Slender Man-that would be super creepy and fun to create. I might just have to add that to my list for future projects! Thanks again for your support, it means a lot!

Another great video! You showed, but didn't mention, lining the jack-o-lantern with some sort of plastic-- that really helps diffuse the light source, and in my experience helps a small light act bigger. Bubble wrap, plastic shopping bags, or dollar store plastic tablecloths all work great. More dance videos, please! 😜

So in total it would cost about ~$200 to make this (assuming that you already have the pvc cement, paint, and rebar). The foam is the most expensive part ($6-7 per can) and with 24 cans Great tutorial!

First great video for a new creature. Second, I would use glue for foam instead of hot glue for the moss. Hot glue can become liquid when placed in a hot exterior environment, and the moss pieces would slide down the body or fall off, especially when placed in direct sun. Depending on where you live, it might not be a problem. I live in Ohio, and we get very hot and humid days. I learned the hard way. If you are using a specific type of hot glue that does not react to the heat and humidity, I would be grateful to know the name. Yes, I do know that you are in NC and get very hot days, but I get more humidity.
