Honestly i would love a full game based on this horror farm sim, but you know instead of being this long puzzle to fix s boat , its a proper farming sim with horror/ survival elements....im genuinely suprised nobody has attempted this before

One of the main issues I think you’d run into with that is if you die you can’t just be forced to restart since farming sims are all about slowly making progress

Just imagine having to make a trip to town -to romance your choice waifu- at night to sell some crops along a winding road through the woods, and hearing things in the dark

@ochuspin well you don't necessarily need perma death. It could be a system where you only lose a day worth of progress upon death, restarting that day ala ground hog day, your progression isn't completely lost, but death still has consequences .

@planescaped honestly, that's the tension I hope such a game captures, juggling the typical farm sim charms with the knowledge you're not necessarily safe even on your way to the friendly village.

Sometimes you can see Bub in the middle of a mad dash if you approach the fence. Also, there will be more to the game in the future according to the dev.

I think it’s interesting how the Shadow is, mechanically speaking, not primarily about forcing you out of the house. Instead, it is meant to make the player feel that nowhere in the farm is truly safe. By placing a timer on the area which the player first assumed they were safe, the game can put pressure on the player for the entire game. The clowns already force the player to leave the house from time to time. Also, playing too defensively in a game with no saves means that you are potentially just wasting your own time if you end up dying, since you make most of your actual progress outside of the house. The ability for the Shadow to appear from the well also adds to that feeling of nowhere being safe.

Dark bub's lack of info online reminds me of a similar random chance enemy in a completely different horror indie game. Looks completely different from everything in the game and crashes your game, while also lacking any info online for a very long time. Game is Midnight Evil

I'm glad to have been around for the playthrough. A shame Bub and Wendonathon didn't get to leave on the boat though. That wild card with Dark Bub mustve been horrific at first, unfortunately i didnt get to see him when I stopped by. I loved how we all went wild when the fish started singing too lmao. Overall really good game. Good reviewdeo to boot. Keep it up, Pak.

I love this game so much (though I fully admit I'm not very good at it lol) and I'm glad it's still getting updated. Also, Fun Fact: The Hell's kitchen "violin" is actually a VERY different instrument called a waterphone, which looks more like a child's art project than an instrument, and it can also make a surprisingly wide variety of ominous bonging, clinking, and "warping" sounds depending on what kind of stick you use to play it!
