Not only can this version of the Rot very clearly see, it only attacks uninfected organisms, therefore, depending on the state of everything else, this Rot Leviathan might be worse then the normal own, as there is a chance it is only targeting you

Idea for a fight scene: Arti, Monk, Gourmand, and that new Scav friend are cornered by some creature Arti can't just nuke (like a red centipede or hunter long legs) and a few other creatures, arti to practically dives headfirst into the creatures throwing a bomb right in her face launching her far away, some of the creatures die but the main one that's explosive resistant and a few other rot creatures survive, Gourmand quickly grabs Monk and their Scav friend slides right into one of the creatures that isn't the explosion resistant one and does an A-Train to that creature, then gourmand spits out a singularity bomb and nukes the remaining creatures, finally they go to find Arti.

rivulet doesnt actually die here i did some testing and found that rivulet holding a rarefaction cell (which they are) can easily outswim a leviathan, you even go so fast that the leviathan cancels its bite bc you went out of range

I LOVE this au and these animations I am almost curious if the green slag key inoculated Moon with the Rot, which could be why she seems to be more, aware? Or at least progressing slower than the other iterators? Sos definitely has something big to do with all of this, I suspect that in this universe, her solution to the Problem was some form of the rot. I also suspect her eyes are the ones that we see pop up in the intro sequence and at the end with Saint. Which iS HAUNTINGLY COOL BTW I am desperately curious as to if NSH is still responsible for hunter in this AU, because I’m still not sure how they were infected, and OUGH this is a fascinating story

In the thumbnail, Artificer and Rivulet are clearly infected, even though they aren't in this animation. But I know how they got infected...Artificer got bitten and thus infected by the Chieftain, and the Rivulet got bitten by an infected...LEVIATHAIN?!? I'm more surprised the Rivulet didn't get swallowed whole. The bite on him is going to look sick as heck though.

A few things i noticed: - The pearl at the begining turning into a mini DLL - The pearls on the cheiftans mask are also replaced by rot (its either a cool design choice or it means rot can spread to and from pearls.) - Spearmasters pearl being infected??? - Arti is not infected despite being attacked from the scav chief (i think?) Either because she wasnt bit, it was an explosive that caused the damage, or shes imune due to [i suppose a higher body tempetuare relating to her explosion jump?] - Scav with the survivor group possibly the one that was on the pole trying to escape the zombies in the first vid - Saint being connected to the rot somehow? Maybe? We will have to see

Interesting... Luna and Sliver don't have crossed eyes... Considering that the previous animation is not canon... Hmm... It turns out that they are aware of themselves. Hmm. Question: Do they retain control over the body, or not? Also question: If Saint destroys the iterator, will it kill the rot? After all, it works with neurons, and the rot in this universe parasitizes on living beings... Also question: Did NSH sew the same rot that parasitizes into hunter, or a different form? Also, will there be an epic battle between Arti and her children? And the destruction of the stones by Saint? It would be funny to watch

The iterators do not retain control over their body for the most part. Yes, Saint destroying the iterator kills the rot. NSH did not give Hunter the rot in this AU, Hunter got infected on their way to revive Moon.
