I'm gonna make a pinned comment bc I don't actually want to deal with youtubes like, text limit in the video description. To be clear the reason I'm doing my best to explain here is because I don't want people trying to do so in this comment section. I do not fucking trust that misinformation will not be spread and I do not want to have to wrangle people into being fucking normal. 1. "What happened?" The situation: Screenshots going around showing Pansear encouraging self harm in exchange for art, NSFW art specifically and stuff about how they dismissed a grooming victim. There's rumors but no proof that the NSFW art in question is feral. The thing is, Pansear was spoken to and re-educated on this within the same night. The screenshots ignore this fact. That things got *settled* After the screenshots came out Pansear deleted all their soicials. Which includes their youtube chnanel. So. Rest in pieces original upload.. I am not an authority on this situation. But we do not know for sure if the screenshots are fabricated or not. So I am withholding moral judgement until it becomes more clear. However due to how I keep being pulled in I've distanced myself from Pan so if its real then I'm not associated with this person anymore, if it isn't than I don't get drawn into situations like this anymore. This MAP has also kind of ensured I will no longer be allowing myself to be a co-host and while I may have a co-host in the future. Any MAPs I host will be things that will be uploaded to this channel. From my perspective: I don't know if this started on 9/13/2024 or 9/14/2024. But I do know that I woke up on the 14th, got online and checked the beady eyes on the horizon MAP discord, and saw a bunch of people talking about what had happened. This was how I found out that the MAP was deleted. I was not contacted in any capacity prior to it's deletion and you can imagine how ""thrilled"" I was to find out something I'd spent 10 months running was suddenly gone without a trace. This is not the first incident of Pans that has impacted the MAP. The situation in shipping container also got into the MAP discord (The first being the dismissalof the grooming situation. ), so I reached out to the animators to ask if they actually wanted me to bring the MAP back. Due to all the stress it seemed to be tied to. The consensus was to do so. I reached out to Pansear to get permission and to confirm if they wanted to remain in the MAP or not. They left the decision up to me and due to the nature of the situation I decided to remove them. I have spent a significant portion of my time since the 14th editing the entire project back together. To be clear, I do not engage with the wider community. So both times something related to Pansear has effected this MAP have like someone is running up to me and slapping me across the face. I am not involved in the situations whatsoever I just keep getting dragged in. I am not involved. Though I do hope this is somewhat helpful of a breakdown. 2. "You were the co-host?" Yes I helped run this. I didn't realize that I hadn't been properly credited as a host of this project until editing the MAP earlier this week. I don't actually ship artihunter hard enough to have run something like this on my own but I offered to help Pan. I don't think there was any malicious intent but when the July MAPathon rolled around I overworked myself and didn't bother checking if I was credited correctly since I was so busy. 3. "Why are the credits different" Unless I missed something, one participant wanted their UN changed, and I actually credited the parts I was apart of this time around. 4. "Why is the disclaimer different" Wanted to communicate the trigger warnings better. The old one feels cluttered. It bugged me. Also I wanted to add the thing about them being gay because people kept asking. So I'm nipping this in the bud. 5. "Someone reuploaded this before you" AND THANK FUCKIGN GOD THEY DID BECAUSE THE PART LIST IN THE DISCORD AIN'T ACCURATE. WHICH MEANS I NEEDED TO USE OUTSIDE RESOURCES TO ENSURE EVERYONE GOT CREDITED PROPERLY. But as I said. I was working on this on the 14th. BEFORE any of those. I am the co-host. This is as much my project as it was Pansears. -

I’m so glad this MAP is back up. It’s so beautiful and so many people worked so hard on it. One of the best projects out of the Rain World community. I just hope everyone within this community can get along and be well-mannered. We used to be a community known for our friendliness. If someone doesn’t like Rain World, we should still be kind. If someone is mean, we should still be kind. However, we shouldn’t tolerate despicable behavior. Love you all, and this magnificent work of art. ❤

I'm gonna be honest with you at the risk of being an asshole. I've been in this community since 2019 and it was never known for it's 'friendliness'. Artists used to get bullied of of rain world main for having the audacity to draw ocs. It's gotten better since than but I do find this kind of commentary..weird..as someone who's been around this long. Also there's hundreds (or more) of us now so holding the expectation that everyone will get along is..not realistic.

I never experienced the art side of things, only the gaming side and everyone was pretty docile and kind to new players. I don’t know what happened, but I know it’s not good and I feel awful for people getting bullied for their ocs. I don’t expect everyone to get along. I just hope we can all get along, even though you are right-it is unrealistic.

Regardless I'd like to try to keep this discussion out of my channel. I'm not thrilled at the idea of people coming to my comments to either get informed, gossip or vent. I understand this is upsetting but my channel is not the appropriate place for it. This MAP was where my involvement ended with anything related to it. Ik thats a bit harsh but I want to move past this and get away from it all.
