AD 1341 ല്‍ കേരളത്തിൽ കേരളം കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രളയം ഉണ്ടായി..മുസ്രിസ് തുറമുഖം ഇല്ലാതെ ആയി.. ഇന്നേക്ക് കൃത്യം 100 കൊല്ലം മുമ്പ് 99 ലെ അതായത്‌ 1924 ല്‍ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം ഉണ്ടായി... അത് 2018 ലും വലുത് ആയിരുന്നു.. അന്ന് ആരും പ്രകൃതിക്ക് ദോഷമായി ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല...ഇക്കൊല്ലം ദുബയ് ചെന്നൈ ഡെല്‍ഹി അടക്കം ലോകത്ത് വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം ഉണ്ടായതും ഗാഡ്ഗില്‍ Report നടപ്പാക്കാന്‍ വൈകിയ കൊണ്ടാണോ??? പിന്നെ കൈയേറ്റം അല്ല കുടിയേറ്റം.. രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ സര്‍ക്കാരുകള്‍ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ച് വിട്ടതാണ്, കൂടുതൽ സുഗന്ധവ്യഞ്ജനങ്ങളും ഭക്ഷണവും ഉല്പാദിപ്പിച്ച് രാജ്യത്തിന് വരുമാനം കൂട്ടാൻ.. ഇടുക്കി കുടിയേറ്റ വിളംബരം നടത്തിയതിന്റെ 200 മത് വാര്‍ഷികം ആയിരുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞ കൊല്ലം.. ചങ്കുറപ്പുള്ളവരും പണിയെടുക്കാൻ താൽപര്യമുള്ളവരും പോയി ഇന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ ഇല്ല കേരളവും ഇല്ല.. പിന്നെ ഈ പറയുന്നവരൊക്കെ ലോകം ഉണ്ടായ കാലത്ത് തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായ സിറ്റിയിൽ ആണല്ലോ ജനിച്ചത്..! കേരള മലയോരം പരിസ്ഥിതി ലോലമായ പ്രദേശം ആണ് അവിടെ ഇത്തരം അപകടം ഉണ്ടാവും.. പരിസ്ഥിതി ലോലമായ പ്രദേശത്ത് ചെയ്താലും ചെയത് ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ടാകും.. മലയിടിക്കുക കുന്നിടിക്കുക ഒക്കെ ചെയ്താൽ സാധ്യതകൾ കൂടും എന്നതല്ലാതെ ഒരിക്കലും ഉണ്ടാവില്ല എന്ന് പറയാൻ പറ്റില്ല. കാരണം നമ്മുടെ വനങ്ങളിൽ ഉരുൾപൊട്ടുന്നത് ആരെങ്കിലും എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെയ്ത കൊണ്ടാണോ...? മലയോരവും തീരദേശവും, പിന്നെ വെള്ളം കയറുന്ന കുട്ടനാട്ടിലെ പോലുള്ള താഴ്ന്ന പ്രദേശം കൂടെ ഒഴിവാക്കിയാല്‍ കേരളത്തിൽ സുരക്ഷിത വാസയോഗ്യമായ പ്രദേശം കുറവാണ്.. അപ്പൊ മനുഷ്യര്‍ എന്ത് ചെയ്യും..?? കേരളത്തിൽ മനുഷ്യവാസയോഗ്യമായ പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ കുറവാണ്, ഉള്ള ജനത്തിന് സുരക്ഷിതമായി താമസിക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നതിലും ജനസംഖ്യ നമുക്കുണ്ട്.. ജനസംഖ്യ കുറയ്ക്കുക അപകട സാധ്യത കുറഞ്ഞ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ താമസിക്കുക, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ റിസ്ക് എടുക്കുക എന്നത് മാത്രമാണ് ഇതിനൊരു പോംവഴി..Risk ഉണ്ട് വാഹനം അപകടം ഉണ്ടാക്കും എന്ന് കരുതി വാഹനയാത്ര നിരോധിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റില്ലല്ലോ...
