@@predictivetextisforaunts I've not had anyone end a relationship by ghosting me, but I did have someone end a 2 year relationship by text after she slept with someone else, and I refused to let her friends pick up her stuff from mine until she had the guts to talk to me in person. It took her 8 months but when she finally agreed it did give me a level of closure I couldn't get by text, which I wish I had 8 months earlier, and I can only see ghosting as being far worse. The only reason people end relationships like that are either to punish the other person, which is fair enough if they did something seriously bad, or because they're a coward who can't face emotions of other people because it makes them uncomfortable.

Ghosting is probably the most hurtful and traumatic thing you could do to someone.

I disagree. Sometimes people need to discover hard truths about themselves from their own spiritual journey. Hearing these things from somebody you care about deeply may actually cause more damage than is necessary. It can be toxic for both people. If you truly love somebody you have to learn to let them go, if that's what they want. Yes it hurts, but it will be better in the long run believe me.

Imagine if Ricky faked his own death to get out of a relationship. Steve Merchant would quickly figure out that the guy hosting the Golden Globes looks awfully like dearly departed Ricky...

There's a cat in my neighbourhood who I used to be great friends with and he/she has been ghosting me for weeks and weeks now. It hurts!!

Ricky having to sing along to that jingle is like being at a friends house and their toddler goes round the room and gives everyone a really spitty soaking wet kiss goodnight and you sort of feel obliged and end up with a face covered in spit, and you can’t say NO WAY. I DIDN’T SIGN UP FOR THIS

I didn't really like Ricky but when I saw a clip of him at the last award show I like him ot was so funny and so true about hollywood idiots. Each and everyone of them deserved what he said. I loved it!
