@@predictivetextisforaunts I've not had anyone end a relationship by ghosting me, but I did have someone end a 2 year relationship by text after she slept with someone else, and I refused to let her friends pick up her stuff from mine until she had the guts to talk to me in person. It took her 8 months but when she finally agreed it did give me a level of closure I couldn't get by text, which I wish I had 8 months earlier, and I can only see ghosting as being far worse. The only reason people end relationships like that are either to punish the other person, which is fair enough if they did something seriously bad, or because they're a coward who can't face emotions of other people because it makes them uncomfortable.

I disagree. Sometimes people need to discover hard truths about themselves from their own spiritual journey. Hearing these things from somebody you care about deeply may actually cause more damage than is necessary. It can be toxic for both people. If you truly love somebody you have to learn to let them go, if that's what they want. Yes it hurts, but it will be better in the long run believe me.

Ricky goes full Ghosting Level 6 at the end there! Btw, it's: Ghosting Level 1: stop talking Ghosting Level 2: sneak exit Ghosting Level 3: fake death Ghosting Level 4: convince them you never existed Ghosting Level 5: convince them they don't exist Ghosting Level 6: destroy all humanity ...why the crap did I spend 10 minutes thinking of this lol

I'd LOVE the Rock to turn up in Derek. Derek loves wrestling. He could have been a competition winner

Ghosting is the cruelest most cowardly way to end any relationship, btw. Unless that person cheats, is a narcissist that ghosts repeatedly and treats you like shit without explanation. Then you can walk out, ghost them back, never give an explanation - serves them right

I actually faked my own death once to get out of a relationship years ago. After 5 months I am back in town & out shopping, when I run into her with my trolley. Most awkward moment of my life
