Oh man, this makes me want to see Punch-Out get a competitive scene. Everyone playing the same character but it's a test of reaction time and how to respond to every move

Honestly pls no 🤦🏾‍♂️. Its getting annoying at this point that almost every new multiplayer game is becoming more and more competitive. I’d rather punch out just be genuinely fun.

@@yes_and_so_what it has nothing to do with it being a separate mode, COD and Halo both have campaigns, but people want to play for the multiplayer, and the multiplayer is extremely competitive. for a fighting game, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros? all competitive games with separate campaign modes. Though to varying degree's of competitive scenes, competitive scenes more often than not ruin a game for the casual players more than it helps them. Smash bros is the only game I can think of that hasnt done that, but that has a lot to do with there being so many ways to play that game.

If a punch ever occurs on the same frame, the game decides who gets priority with RNG. There’s no clashing, so it’s a 50/50 every time.
