We lost a gentleman and a very fine actor when this standup guy passed. Sure, he could play a tough, badass goodfella. But, what set him. apart from many of his gumbari was that understated element of vulnerability he brought to even his toughest tough guy portrayals. It was always there inside and always real. That's why we responded to that quality, whether we realized it or not. An actor can't fake that. Either you got it, or you don't. Mr. Vincent definitely had it.
