Jonathan's body weakened DIO's capacity for flash freezing and the laser eyes due to incompatability and hamon, but as seen in the death battle, DIO changed into his more powerful appearance after Level 0 got released. Which means he drank some of the blood during that flood Flash Freeze was useless against stands so no use trying that on Jotaro so DIO has the benefit of doubt whether he did or didn't regained it. Drinking another Vampire's blood would mean he is more powerful and thus, potentially regained the laser eyes.

@@Breidablik06 Kars had also used the mask on himself multiple times in the past without the stone, and some of his vampire minions showed off body manipulation similar to the pillarmen's, so maybe the mask can further draw out potential but Dio has no way of knowing while Kars has experimented with it in the past. Also the only reason the stone was needed was because the normal mask's spines couldn't pierce the pillarman's brain with its acupuncture so Kars needed a stronger version

The mask unlocks the full potential of the body it’s used on, in humans that is turning into a vampire. On pillar men it gives them the ability to replicate other life and “conquer the sun.” The whole reason the red stone was needed was because it made the mask strong enough to pierce the skulls of the pillar men. At least that’s what I got from it

@@absolutetalks9259 Both Part 3 and 5 have a similar sort of linear timeline that gets boring after about 3 episodes, because you know that the villain is going to be defeated by 1. A side character who actually does something clever, or 2. Jotaro beats the shit out of them. For Part 5, it is admittedly more clever, but it still follows the same boring linear approach, except halfway their goal changes. Giorno is also, like Jotaro in Part 3, literally emotionless and basically a moving rock sculpture. Jotaro is better in 4 and 6, as a sort of mentor, admittedly, but he isn't even the main character, and instead we have a punk 90's kid who gets pissed if you mention his hair, and a girl who masturbates to moonlight. As for what I've seen, Part 2, 4, and what we've seen of 6 seem to be good, but a series can't go up and down in terms of actual quality. In fact, JoJo's would be pretty irrelevant right now if it wasn't for the fact that it is absurd, and I get it, "Bizarre Adventure," but the absurdity of what happens carries the show's popularity. While Part 2 is clever and enjoyable throughout, Part 4 is mostly unnecessary filler for the first half, and finds its main antagonist halfway, and as a JoJo fan with a DIO pfp, you already know how Netflix is fucking Part 6 over, so all the hype it was carried on is now dead. Sorry for typing an essay, it takes a while to get all this out.

@@casualfool122 don’t apologize for an essay. I literally wright essay comments on here all the time. I get it. And yea, everyone knows part 6 was butchered with its release scheduled and frankly I doubt they can come back to make it hype and satisfying for part 6. They killed 6. But part 5 is spectacular with its fights and I loved the story, scenery, the stand users and the stands behind them. Also goirno is my favorite jojo but admittedly his personality isn’t as big as Joseph or Josuke. Might not have spelled that right. But he still has more personality then Jonathan and jotaro. And he also has his dream to stop drug flow to minors which is honorable. He’s a mix of Jonathan’s golden heart and dios determination and ruthlessness. He like his dad screams MUDA instead of ora or a variation of it. And his stand isn’t just punch hard, it’s a healer and tactical type stand. Which makes for a very entertaining fight sequence when he enters the ring. Also part 4 has Kira. Which fans love. Admittedly it’s first half even for me took a moment to get into. I didn’t get truly invested until I saw echo act 2. Truly a chad. But the only parts I’d truly say are bad are 1, first half of part 4 weren’t bad, just meh, everything else I was drawn in. When Jonathan dies in part four that was the first time I actually felt anything about him. Part two introduced us to the coolest cat around, Joseph jostar and I fell in love with every fight and interaction he has. Part three polnoraff and the world. All I gotta say. Villains were memorable and entertaining to watch besides tower of grey. And dio was a REAL menace that put the hurt on everyone. I respect you might not care for it but part 3/4/5 are fan favorites. And for manga everyone by default says part seven but I haven’t got around to reading it yet. And from what I’ve seen fans are in love with part 8. I’m here and I love the show for its wacky personalities and crazy cool stands. It’s plot rarely disappoints me and it always delivers on a great fight. Minus part 1.

I think they made DIO’s regen a little too powerful for the battle. I remember when he got his legs destroyed in his battle against Jotaro it took a minute to heal completely, not to mention a vamp’s healing factor does have limits on what it can replace. If DIO lost an arm that arm is permanently gone. Alucard can regenerate his entire body in seconds.

Dio has been shown more than once to be able to reattach limbs. As shown he can extend the veins in that part of his body, and the veins in the severed body part and reattach it seamlessly. In less than 30 seconds too, he can just use blood to speed up the process should he choose to. He also survived as just a severed head and was able to completely attach his head to a new body, leaving only a scar on his neck which was fully healed when he drank Joestar blood and completely fused the body to the head, thus making his powers that much stronger.

Consider they say Allucard could only lift 11 tons… he literally floods London in a river of blood, that’s A LOT more than 11 tons by a huge magnitude. You really expect me to believe a Stand user like, say, Steely Dan had his Stand manifest simply because he liked to make people suffer or something? By that logic, basically any evil Stand user would get a Stand like Steely Dan's and yet they're all unique. There's nothing even really notable in Jotaro's personality that would make this manifest his Stand as Star Platinum. If a Stand was a manifestation of its user's personality/ideals, then by that logic, they should stay alive even when their user is dead, but no, they (except for extremely rare circumstances) always die the moment their users die, which clearly implies they're at least connected directly to their user's life force.

not sure how much i agree with this battle. while i fully agree that dio stomps alucard, if he has no backup lives, i'm pretty sure alucard would be smart enough to recognize that fact. the question i have is would he even go level 0 against dio? he doesn't really have a reason to do so. he doesn't need the numbers to fight a large number of enemies at once, and he most certainly wouldn't respect dio enough to wish to be killed by him and therefore wouldn't deliberately give him the opening. the smartest thing alucard could do is just stay at level 1 and abuse the fact he can't be killed until the sun rises, which he most definitely can last that long, considering it took him himself almost 30 years to kill all of his backup lives. alucard doesn't seem to mind the sun, as we saw him openly walk around during the day in brazil, but dio would almost instantly die from exposure. i get that the idea is that alucard is "strongest" at level 0 and therefore the characters have to go up against each other "at their strongest", but i'm not sure i fully agree with that. again, the question is whether or not alucard would deliberately expose himself to dio like that and i don't think he would.

See the thing is that was the fight, which doesn't represent the analysis directly. In the analysis, I'm pretty sure they covered that due to Dio's sheer speed, and power (coupled with the OP as hell timestop), he could simply kill Alucard 3 billion times over before he even has much of a chance to fight back (which with the timestop is even more likely). Edit: granted I know jack shit about either, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I was more trying to explain the logic they had for the winner.

​@@jamestomato1744 yeah, but that only works if you assume alucard goes level 0 and releases all his souls at once, thereby leaving himself open to be instakilled by dio. that's my main gripe with the fight really. alucard never really went level 0 in a 1v 1, at least not when he doesn't respect his opponent enough to wish to be killed by them which dio most certainly wouldn't fit that category. there is no question dio can kill alucard easily when he has no lives left, like would be the case during level 0, but if the fight follows the much more likely route and alucard instead uses any of the other levels to fight dio, it turns into a war of attration that solely relies on wether dio can kill all 3 million plus souls one by one -which took alucard roughly 30 years to do and dio can't use timefreeze to speed up the process as he can only destroy one soul per freeze and would need to unfreeze time between each kill and wait for alucard to regenerate-, before alucard could figure out a way to use sunlight to kill dio. i'm not saying dio couldn't win, i'm saying there logic is flawed.

@@thechatteringclown Now they did explain that away as if it came to that, then by day Dio could just hide away or get away since he could feasibly time stop and GTFO and they didn't mention any spatial awareness or tracking abilities for Alucard so there'd be no way to track Dio down should he choose to make a "tactical retreat". Though I have to ask, would it be reasonable for Alucard to assume that Dio's a vampire? Dio is unaffected by the holy bullets that Alucard fires, which would likely tell the impaler that this guy is something else. As per whether or not he would go all out, well that's probably something they did for animation though. I still think it's feasible for Dio to just kill him really fast, given how strong The World's punches can get (as well as how fast). A well placed barrage could probably kill him a dozen times or so in at most a couple seconds (or less).

In reality Alucard wins as at the end of the series if I remember correctly he becomes a paradox with infinite possibilities and is everywhere and nowhere so easily beats Dio

Look I watched the db and u just gotta say they overhyped dio way to much dio regen is child's play compared to alu we see in the Manga dio having to steal a body when he lost his head or ask some to get his leg for him. Base dio wouldn't beat alucard now dio over heaven is a different story

They already said his healing factor was way weaker on the black info popups after the battle. And even then Dio is way more naturally adept in the physical strength department than Alucard. And then there's The World. Alucard cant harm it, he can't see it, and he's way below it's level of physical stregth. Alucard basically only had the souls and this insane healing going for him.

Part of me hopes that that dog murderer line was edited in due to recent news events... yeah “dog murders” should “die like a bitch”. That is the closest anything political has gotten me to say something violent. I'm not saying it's something that should be forcefully caused, I'm just saying its what's deserved. It wasn’t stated that he can’t use level 0 with the possession of schrodingers soul he only died because schrodinger forgot who he is, plus hypnosis is a cop out because alucard absorbed the powers of schrodinger him losing the soul means nothing,in my opinion dio should have lost

Cat boys powers and Alucards cannot exist at the same time otherwise Alucard gets erased from existence. It took over 30 years for Alucard to kill all 3 millions souls to find the cat boy and exterminate him. They literally tell you ehy he can't use them both and you didn't listen!

The reason that Alucard can’t have catboy powers and his own at the same time is because if he does, Schrodinger would lose himself among the other souls and drag Alucard out of existence. Sure, Alucard _could_ get more souls after draining his reserve, but literally why would he do that? He’d just be wiping himself from existence again.

this one is literally biased, as is most of death battles content, they "fix" the facts to fit there narrative often overlooking key points in there conclusions, they killed off alucard despite the fact he cannot die, alucard never released restraint level zero, meaning all those souls are still inside of him, since we saw him regenerate that means he has plenty souls in him, so unless they thought restraint level one makes him killable (it doesnt, never has never will) then they made it clear there narrative was biased edit: it does show level zero but the fact is he literally has to be ordered to use it, integra never ordered him so this use of it is a violation, meaning i do not count it as level zero
