The fact that this show has a lot of things going on will make it easier for me to forget some of the info/spoilers that i'm getting . I feel like when i eventually watch the show i will basically forget everything while watching it . I've watched shows like TWD , GOT with knowing spoilers. @@martinshangout I personally feel like the reason why so many people haven't noticed him being JoJo is because almost every part of the anime has a completely different artstyle and like for example in Part 3, JoJo is overly muscular and buff but starting with Part 4 his character is a lot slimmer and in a sense a more realistic body. I can definitely understand what you're saying with the whole "J" on his hat and I too have thought the same as you on that but somehow nobody else I've seen react to these openings has caught onto the detail of his hat (there's also a heart on his hat which is supposed to represent the "O" which is something you may or may not have noticed)

JoJo is basically a nickname passed down through generations, a bloodline fated to fight Yellowface and his influence in the world and other followers, every Part happens years apart and features a different JoJo fulfilling their destiny, and the final opening pays homage to the generations that came before, as the villain is essentially trying to erase it all from time itself as part of his plans. Highly recommend watching it, it's peak fiction, oh also, those helpers are called Stands, this series's power system, and what makes it good is that they're unique to the person, could look like anything and do ANYTHING, which leads to some amazing fights and situations

Just so you know the fighting ghost/spirit things are called stands and they first appear in part 3. Stands are a manifestation of the users will, each stand has different stats like in a video game that is based off of how strong you are mentally and additionally each stand has a unique ability that it can perform. The abilities that the stands can use can vary depending on what the stand is good at for example the purple one you see in op 3 and 4 is called Star Platinum and it is incredibly strong, fast, and precise (you learn his ability at the end of part 3 so I won’t mention what it does). Some of the stands aren’t so great at fighting so those stands would have abilities that would allow them to win a battle without throwing many punches, and also stands can only be seen by other stand users.

I like that you arent that overreacting much and actually find interest in this rather being spoiled by people. You actually pieced abit of the actual story of the anime and ur honestly chill. That being said, ill say this about JJBA- parts 1-6 is shounen and parts 7-9 is seinen (manga currently for now). The power system and plot in this series is abit confusing especially for parts 7-9 but one thing is consistent so its fine. I recommend listening to some OST, doesn't spoil much for you. Search Jojo Themes and thats all. Maybe when you're at the halfway point of JJBA, look at some of the mangaka's (hirohiko araki) arts, legit did a collab with gucci and gets his art displayed in art galleries. (Minor spoiler warning) Stands is the main staple of the system but parts 1-2 dont have that.

I suggest watching JoJo's in your spare time because while reacting, some important details or some waster eggs will be easily missed. Watching them leisurely will better help in pausing/rewinding/stopping on certain frames for some interesting foreshadowing or details. There's more than one JoJo because it's a bloodline and there's different yellow hair characters so they're not the same person There's also a theme revolving around time and space from the third opening onward Also you misses V2 of the first Stone Ocean opening

Heres a (mostly) spoiler free explanation of each protag's relation to one another Part 1: Jonathan Joestar, the first protag Part 2: Joseph Joestar, Jonathan's grandson Part 3: Jotaro Kujo, Joseph's grandson Part 4: Josuke Higashikata, hes Josephs son because Joseph kinda sorta cheated on his wife during his elder years Part 5: Giorno Giovanna, i cant really explain how hes related to them without spoiling a lot but he is indeed part of the Joestar bloodline. Part 6: Jolyne Kujoh, shes Jotaro's daughter. The manga has 3 more parts but i won't mention anything about them or their protags because that would require spoiling the end of part 6.

I find it amazing that people who have not watched jojo can not comprehend the possibility that casts can completely change between seasons. Ok, time to explain. The first opening is part one (phantom blood), and Jonathan Joestar, or just JoJo, fights his recently adopted brother, Dio Brando (case sensitive), who used the stone mask, at the end, both supposedly die. Opening two is for part two (battle tendency), where Joseph Joestar, AKA JoJo, the grandson of Johnathan Joestar is forced join forces with ceasar zeppeli, grandson of a friend of Jonathan who wasn't shown in the first opening, to face the creators of the stone mask, the pillar men (known as that as they emerged from a stone pillar), whamu, esidisi, and Kars, and stop them from becoming truely immortal as as currently, they, and by extension vampires, can only be killed by sunlight. Joseph beats them, sending kars deep into space, never to be seen again. Opening 3 and 4 are part 3 (stardust crusaders), and follows jotaro kujo, the current jojo and grandson of Joseph Joestar, teaming up with a group that includes old Joseph, to defeat DIO (case sensitive), the villain of part 1 who did not die and stole Jonathan's body and used an item that will become important later to unlock a stand, a spirit that can be summoned to fight for you, however, only stand users can see other stands (except for when they don't), only stands can harm other stands (except for when they don't ), and all damage done to a stand will reflect onto the user (except for when they don't), and all stand have a very specific and sometimes situational ability. DIO's stand, the world, can stop time for up to 5 relative seconds, until he can stop time for 9 reletive seconds, and jotaro's stand star platinum also unlocks the power to stop time, but only for 2 reletive seconds (don't wory, they're both fast, so they make the most of those few seconds). Jotato ignore's DIO's near immortality by killing DIO's stand, and rule 3 of stands, all damage done to a stand will reflect onto the user, even lethal damage that would not be lethal had they hit the user instead. Openings 5,6, and 7, part 4 (diamond is unbreakable), Josuke Higashikata, current JoJo and son of old man Joseph Joestar (not young Joseph) and his stand crazy diamond (all stands from here on out are song, singer, or band references), get wrapped up in a plot in which Stand Arrows (the things DIO used to unlock stands), slice of life hijinks, and an explosion serial killer named yoshikage kira, "watashi wa kira yoshikage" copypasta here, who has a hand fetish. Kira's stand killer queen has two bombs, one where he can touch someone and turn them into a bomb and explode them directly or touch an object and turn that into a bomb that he can remote detonate to explode someone without damaging the something that he had turned into a bomb, but he can only have one of these at a time, while the other bomb, sheer heart attack, is a tiny, indestructible, heat seeking tank that will either blow up every living being around and de-sumon itself, or be de-sumoned by kira. Using the help of the ghost of kira's first victim, Josuke and friends track down kira... Only for kira to run away and steal the identity of kosaku kawajiri, the black haired guy that he killed as he was running from josuke and crew. More antics, jotaro starts to suspect kosaku as his son has mysteriously started to trail him around. After accidentally killing the son, hayato, kira gets stabbed, unlocking killer queen's final bomb, bites the dust, whick disables the other two bombs, latches itself onto someone, and when someone finds out about kosaku actually being kira, explodes them, takes the person it is attached to back an hour, and anyone who it killed in the past timelines dies regardless of if they found out kira's identity in the current timeline. So now hayato gets stuck in some groundhog day style antics, and outsmarts kira (which is a miracle, kira is not stupid), and forces kira to deactivate bites the dust before its first victim could re-explode. Kira gets killed, kira's first victim personally sends him to hell, and then after heartfelt goodbyes, moves on to the afterlife. Openings 8 and 9, part 5 (golden wind), Giorno Giovanna, jojo of the part and son of DIO, goes and uses his stand gold experience to OVERTHROW THE MAFIA OVER THE COURSE OF ONE WEEK because drugs are bad. Diovolo, boss of the mafia, uses his stand, king crimson, who gives him the power to skip time up to 10 seconds, and king crimson's sub stand epitaph, which allows him to se up to 20 seconds into the future, to not be seen. Giorno and his team travel across italy, until they meet with polnareff (a friend of jotaro from part 3), who accidentally uses the requiem arrow, a variant of a stand arrow, to evolve his stand silver chariot, into chariot requiem, leading to some "Freaky Friday" hijinks, they beat chariot requiem, fight diovolo over the requiem arrow, Giorno uses the requiem arrow to evolve gold experience into gold experience requiem, or GER, who not only has the ability of gold experience to turn things into animals that reflect damage onto the attacker, unless it's giorno, but also the ability to just say no to any action, including diovolo's skipping time. Giorno kills diovolo which leads diovolo to be stuck in an infinite death loop where every death is different, and even in impossible ways. Opening 10 and 12, part 6 (stone ocean). Jolyne kujoh, current jojo and daughter of jotaro kujo, don't ask me why she has an h at the end of her family name, I don't know. She gets arrested because of a conspiracy to lure her father to green dolphin prison in Florida, which leads the villain, enrico pucci, to use his stand, white snake, to steal jotaro's stand and memory disk, leaving him in a worsening vegetative state. Jolyne uses her recently acquired stand, stone free, to steal back jotaro's stand disk, leading him to still technically be in a vegetative state, but he's definitely going to live. Jolyne escapes prison with her new friends, but because pucci absorbed the green baby, a pseudo clone of DIO, he evolves his stand into C-Moon, which can manipulate gravity, and eventually into made in heaven, a stand that can accelerate time so much that the universe wraps around and resets. Behold, the heaven plan, where everybody knows their future, can't escape from it, and can't do anything to majorly change it. Pucci is the only one exempt from this. Pucci gets his exemption used against him, causing him to change the fate of the remaining members of jolyne's crew, allowing them to break free from fate, causing pucci to have never existed, and fate giving jolynes crew a better life in the new 3rd universe, with only they who had remained remembering what happened. The 3+ remaining parts (7,8, and 9, as of typing this) have not been animated yet, and thus have no openings. Also, they take place in a completely different timeline from parts 1-6, so they have their own lore.

Jojo's bizarre adventure is a weekly shonen manga series (turned to the mature and monthly Seinen starting from Part 7) that started in 1987 and is still going on to this Day, with it getting a relatively recent anime in 2012 that has just ended Part 6 in December 2022. People have already told you that every part is different, going down the timeline with a different protagonist of the same Joestar family, with their nickname of course being "JoJo". Even more so you see how the "Villian version" of the final Opening felt, well, FINAL? That's because Part 6 is actually technically the ending of JoJo. Parts 7-9 are basically a rebooted series that is more mature.. hence why it's a Seinen. This series has been very influencial to many anime, manga, games, fashion, and for a good reason. Another aspect is the references to western music, Hirohiko Araki, the mangaka, is a huge fan of music from us, so many characters and Stands (more on that later) are named after music, like there's a character named Eisidisi (like AC/DC), or a stand named Killer Queen (like the Queen song). Sadly in most versions of the subtitles change most of the names for copyright like Killer Queen is changed to Deadly Queen, or King Crimson is changed to Emperor Crimson. Obviously that applies to the dub to but that's obvious. Thankfully since of course you can't change the original Japanese audio, the Japanese actors still say the correct name so if you can't find a version with the correct names in the subtitles, hope you have good ears. Now here is a non spoiler summary of every Part of JoJo... That I've used for every freaking time I comment something like this on another channel XD Part 1 Phantom Blood (Anime-9 Episodes. Manga-45 Chapters. Opening 1): JoJo fights his stepbrother... With MAGIC SUNLIGHT KARATE! Part 2 Battle Tendency (Anime-17 Episodes. Manga-69 Chapters. Opening 2): If Indiana Jones was an anime with buff Men... And Magic sunlight karate. Part 3 Stardust Crusaders (Anime-48 Episodes. Manga-152 Chapters. Openings 3&4) Around *The World* in 50 days to Egypt. Also Spiratual Psychic projections that reflect the user called Stands are now a thing and they will forever be the power system. Part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable (Anime-39 Episodes. Manga-174 Chapters. Openings 5-7): Slice of life anime turned murder mystery where the protagonist looks like Prince and the Murderer looks like David Bowie. Also WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT HIS HAIR?! (he's really sensitive) Part 5 Golden Wind {Or, as people with culture say, Vento Aureo, which is Golden Wind in Italian} (Anime-39 Episodes. Manga-155 Chapters. Openings 8&9): Italian Jesus (not actually Jesus but I'm saying that for reasons you'll understand) joins the Italian Mafia to stop the sell of drugs. Part 6 Stone Ocean (Anime-38 Episodes. Manga-158 Episodes. Openings 10&11): Florida Woman breaks out of prison to beat up a gay priest who wants Heaven on earth. *MANGA ONLY PARTS* Part 7 Steel Ball Run [Do be noted that chapters are monthly now, so they tend to be way longer] (95 Monthly Chapters) A cross country horse race that's really an afront for something more sinister. Also Jesus told me to kill the President.. and this is actual Jesus Part 8 JoJolion (110 Monthly Chapters) Sailor found in dirt has amnssia and 4 balls... Yep, 4 balls. Also GIVE ME THE PLANT Part 9 The JOJOlands (This just happened February, so only 2 chapters probably 3 this month) Basically the opposite of Part 5 seemingly, no Mafia but uh, gotta sell the green to make da green if ya know what mean $420.
