Not sure what you mean by main controller, like docking your switch and just using this controller? If so, then yes you can. Also, I have no dead spots on my sticks. Like most thing cheaply mass produced in China, you are going to occasionally get one that is defective. Chances are that if you got one, yours should be just fine.

the colors are actually not reversed, if you get the switch with colored joycons its left/blue right/red but when you get them separately then they are revers left/red right/blue. so normal l/b r/r reversed l/r r/b

I gotta admit that this Ouya looking controller is much better than what I expected it to be. Though I think I still prefer the PDP Controller for the Luigi skin if I want a cheaper alternative plus it looks amazing. Though in the end I might ultimately get the Pro Controller for the Gyro Control, NFC Scanner and HD Rumble.

That is fair to say. For a wireless controller with Rumble, you can't beat the deal. In the end, of course, the Pro Controller is the superior choice.

Yeah pain in the ass on the initial pairing but no need afterwards. Unlike an official switch controller though, you have to wake the system up with the button on the switch and than turn the controller on. It won’t wake the system up when you hit the home button. Thanks too!

Yeah to use it after it’s first paired, I have to hit the button on the switch to wake it up and than press the home button to turn on the controller and L and R.

The switch most definitely has Bluetooth. It just doesn’t have Bluetooth audio. All the controllers connect via Bluetooth including the joycons.

+Rowan Power that’s a really tough question, I like both controllers. This one is super comfortable if you have big hands but I don’t love the D pad. The other one really does feel like a cheaper Xbox one controller which isn’t a bad thing. I really do like the Xbox controller. There is something that seams off though using an “Xbox One” controller on a switch lol so I usually levitate to this one because it seems more “Nintendo like”. Sorry, I know that really didn’t answer your question.

Awesome! Glad I could help! I think I shot this video with a Sony A5100. I really like the camera but I tend to use my canon Camcorder more often now. It doesn’t have as good of a sensor and lens but the added features it has makes for a great KZbin camera. It has a Mic input so I can attach an external mic or use my wireless mic system with it.

These would be perfect for your kids! Unfortunately they don’t dock but do charge with USB C and there are plenty of ports on the switch dock. You’ll be surprised about the joy cons btw. They are really durable too.

It’s definitely possible but my only concern is that the charging dock has grooves specific for the Nintendo pro controller and this controller might be too big and just not the same shape to fit in there. If you try it and it works, let me know but I have my concerns as to why it might not work.

Are you trying to add it from the “Change Grip/order” screen? On the home screen click Controller" and than select “Change Grip/order”. From there hold down the home button until the controller turns on then hold down L and R until it pairs. If that doesn’t work let me know but that’s how all controllers pair to the switch.

I have 2 third party “pro controller” style ones. I’ll say they’re better than the joy con for a bit, but they both have ALOT of dead zone in the sticks after months of use. The official pro controller sticks have almost zero dead zone in them still, and it’s definitely the most used. Worth the money rather than buying a new 30 dollar controller every time you get some serious stick dead zone.

Bought one of these off ebay for about £12 (15 bucks) to use on my PC rather than with a Switch. Windows 11 can recognize and pair with it (comes up as a Pro Controller). Unfortunately thats about it, it doesn't seem to work after that for me. Anyone have any luck getting this to work with a PC?

I got that other one you showed just this morning. It's not too bad, couple things I'm gonna try are give the triggers less travel, make the shoulder buttons less wobbly, and make the rumble motors a bit softer. I reckon I'll replace it with an actual pro controller at some point, but it's serving as my 4th player one so not too much need for it at this time. I was interested in this one, nice video.

I haven’t personally tested if it does. I’m not sure if it’s only designed to work with the switch or if it’s a generic Bluetooth controller.

I’ve been hearing this lately in the comments. I’m honestly not sure what is going on with the controllers. Have you checked with the manufacturer to see if there is a firmware upgrade? I thought this one I reviewed was upgraded and replaced with a mode with turbo features.
