Aboriginal women can play the didjeridoo. Yolgnu are the custodians of Yidaki and their women play but not in ceremony. Unfortunately not even most aboriginal people know this. It was a rumour started by English colonisers. Aboriginal women can play.

I definitely have to agree. I have heard several really amazing didgeridoo players who's skill and musical creativity I was truly impressed by, but THIS...
