Pune: 11-Year-Old Boy Dies After Cricket Ball Hits Private Parts | ISH News

In a heartbreaking incident in Pune, Maharashtra, an 11-year-old boy named Shambhu Kalidas Khandve, lovingly known as Shaurya, lost his life while playing cricket with his friends. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning.
Shaurya, like many children during the summer vacation, enjoyed spending time playing cricket. However, tragedy struck last week when he was participating in a cricket match in the Lohegaon area of Pune. Shaurya was bowling when the batter hit a powerful shot that struck him directly in the groin (private parts).
The impact of the ball was severe, causing Shaurya to cry out in agony and collapse on the ground. Despite the immediate efforts of his friends to revive him, Shaurya remained unconscious. Passersby and others present rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors tried to save him, but unfortunately, Shaurya could not be revived and was declared dead shortly after his arrival.
The news of Shaurya's tragic death has sent shockwaves through his family, friends, and the entire community. Authorities have registered a case of accidental death at Pune's Airport Police Station.
This unfortunate incident highlights the importance of wearing protective gear and exercising caution while engaging in leisure activities.
