*Advancing Rail Infrastructure for Safer, Faster Journeys** The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) inspected the Shirvade - Karad - Shenoli section (21.56 km) of the Pune - Miraj doubling project on 23.10.2024. A successful speed trial reached 131 kmph, with authorization for 100 kmph. **Key Works:** - Construction of 2 major bridges - Yard remodelling at Shirvade, Karad, and Shenoli - Commissioning of new Electronic Interlocking systems at Shirvade and Karad - Alterations in Electronic Interlocking system at Shenoli
