You are right Pradeep. But its extremely tough to keep him with seatbelt for 14 hours. So at some stretches he gets relief to losen seatbelt, I drive slow to record intersting things on the way.

not that worst if you cross Fountain by 12pm while going to Ahmedabad. The flyover at Fountain Junction is operational now and twice we got lesser jam at Narmada bridge. BUT the stretch around Kamrej, Surat is becoming choke point nowadays. which time you cross Fountain Junction usually?

@@Tripstori its not about road condition but the insane amount of truckers on the route make driving hell. Expressway is also too congested on khandala section. thane west vasai virar section is crazy traffic. If u see pune banglore and pune ahmedabad banglore distance is more and gets covered almost same time as ahmedabad. Thats because of the big issue of heavy vehicles and trucks. Hence more of the gujarat and mp section is coming under the new mumbai delhi expressway.

If u looking for road trips pune bengaluru chennai is the best. Bengaluru mysuru ooty coimbatore is beautiful. Belagaon goa murdeshwar is amazing. All the roads leading north side suck and are not worth the ride. Isse accha flight ya train se jao. South main kidhar bhi jao worth the rides

True that, Bengaluru and even further down south roads are pretty nice and scenic. Towards North, the traffic of trucks amd other career vehicles is on higher side resulting in traffic congestion at choke points.

Not 100% about Indian infra, the roads on this route are good and becoming better. But its about crossing mighty Thane / Mumbai on the way and personally I don't drive beyond 100 kph speed, am kinda relaxed traveler who enjoys journey more than the destination 😀
