min. 10,10 after d5 if Bxd5 black cannot play Be6 because of Bxb7. In case of exchange of queens, white would loose the right of castling but gets the rook a8. Neither c6 because white simply takes on f7. So d5 is not correct, better for black is to castle short
@kaspachessofficial Жыл бұрын
Excellent observation! But trust me, not everyone is as good as you are. If you got my explanation clearly at 10:10, I was explaining the possibilities from Black's viewpoint, using the evidence that I already found in the Lichess DB. What I meant to say is that, taking with the Bishop on d5, would place the Bishop in the line of a possible upcoming pin that would have occurred let's say after Black castled short before playing c6.

@@kaspachessofficial Thanks for your kind reply. But I suppose that there is no risk of queens exchanging After d5 Bxd5 00 white can play Qf3 treathening f7 and b7 and white is clearly better, or not? Anyway compliments to your channel

None of these traps ever work

At least if they were coming straight from my mind and not from the Lichess/Masters database, I was going to accept your statement.

@@kaspachessofficial what?
@kaspachessofficial2 жыл бұрын
@@Mike-qo4kp when you check both the Lichess DB and the Masters DB, you will notice that those traps actually do occur, from time to time. Of course not always, coz at the end of the day we still have to play chess ♟️, right?
@brainwreck6672 жыл бұрын
no trap is 100%. they work when they work sometimes, they do sometimes they don't that's the game.
