I have a LV 1.6 and live in Michigan, we are currently indoors and it's about 65 degrees, what would you recommend for settings. Help please. Playing tournaments. Thank you!!!

Id have dwell set to 7; and tune the rest around it. Feel thats the best for reliable efficiency

Best results for me were heavy rammer, dwell at 10.8. Start with both sfr’s all the way down and bring your hpr up to get the fps you want. (My field limit is 270). Depending on the rate of fire you want, slowly turn the front sfr up first, and then the rear sfr alternating just tiny adjustments until you reach the rate of fire you want. You’ll likely have to bring the hpr down again. This shot isn’t the most efficient and I really just shoot at 10.5 bps but it’s the best shooting gun ever made.

Side note on this, I play 95% of the time INDOORS. This tuning setup is wildly different than stock and will probably not work great/at all in the cold.

CS3 cannot be tuned. The OP core is dwell insensitive and the CS3 also does not utilize a LPR. The only tuning is the HPR for velocity.

Trakfloater is correct. Basically rack up more shots and properly bore size your paint so you can turn your operating pressure down

so what i enjoy about tuning is i like to get the shot quality i enjoy wich is snappy 😅 i like to know im shooting something most pe markers are too smooth yes thats a thing and i dont care for the sound signature it gives a very feminine poof noise also i like to tune to get my fps hopefully 5fps or lower i like my balls to be consistent loud fast and in your face my luxe x is by far my favorite marker but i loved my lv1 when i owned it hopefully pe will make more improvements to the lv platform

I have a first gen Planet Eclipse lv1 ashes 3 my question is I've heard some of the lv1 or lv1.5 having solenoid failure, so far mine shoots amazing I love my lv1 haven't had any issues at all my questions is was it maybe PE had some bad batches or maybe just goes bad after so many shots

The LV1 --> LV1.5 used a custom MAC solenoid. This solenoid is not user-serviceable, as the pilot and valve body are integrated. So, if the valve body sticks or the pilot dies, there's a good chance that it is need of replacement. PE switched to an SMC solenoid in the LV1.6 and carried it forward to the LV2. The SMC solenoid uses a separated design, with the pilot bolting onto the valve body - to access the spool, simply remove the pilot to clean/grease. If the pilot dies (which is a rare event), remove and replace. It's a much, much better unit for longevity.

How can I prevent the pilot from from dying how much is one day be will stop making this part for the gun, but I do wish t e for me one for the lv1.5 for the lv1.1 so that us owners that like the lv1.1 can keep it shooting

So as someone who is newer to the sport would a used LV2 be a good option or would it be better to just get something like a 180r / cs3 where you just know out of the box itll be good but maybe not quite as a tuned lv2? Would the extra preformance from a perfectly tuned lv2 be worth the hassle of learning and messing with it?

No modern marker need to be tuned out of box, this if for people who like tinkering. There is 100% no necessity to tinker with any modern marker.
