My family had a lot of immature people in it. My little brother had this book called the tattle tongue. When my mom got fed up with everybody bothering her with all of us telling on each other she sat everyone in the house who was under 18 down and made us listen to the book. I think you misunderstood one of those punishments. You said the Fruitcake punishment seemed nice... but I have a different perspective, so I'll share it here. Here are a few points I'd like to give: 1. The fruitcake was frozen the entire year. So basically you don't really know whether it was good or bad. Yeah, the food can also be rotten. 2. They let their own children have a piece of sth they never knew when expires/already expired... basically afterwards the children must have suffered immense pain. 3. Not all frozen foods (a.k.a the fruitcake), when thawed, taste good. Basically it depends. Also don't forget the amount of temperature the parents might have used... I mean, who knows?

I used to have to either stare at a wall or watch my brother play and have fun as a kid. Then I started being sent to my room and when I was I would slam the door so one day my mom took the door off the hinges so I wouldn't do it anymore. That meant I didn't have any privacy either ... 😂 It remained that way for over two months

I and my sisters usual punishment when we don't sleep for a day is: 1. Cleaning the whole house till 12pm 2. No Wi-Fi till 4 pm 3. No sleeping till 9 pm, if we slept, or took naps on the couch, she would take our gadgets for a week.... She would also lock I and my sisters room for the day, and unlock it on night.. Like when you talk at night (when you are supposed to sleep) you had to run 10 laps around the house because ”you have the energi to talk, run it of”. But that was in our summer house only.
