An easy booklist to do 1. History - Spectrum by rajiv ahir , ancient medieval ( old ncerts - Rs sharma , satish chandra ) 2. Geography - Gc leong , Ncerts ( class11 , class 12 ) , majid hussain ( optional ) 3. Economics - Mrunal economy 4. Polity - ( Lakshmikant ) 5. Environment - Shankar ias 6. Society - Prepare topics syllabus wise from internet 7. Security - vision ias security lectures 8. Stats - SC gupta 9. Ethics - g subba rao Ps- this is highly subjective . That is why i didn't mention a fixed booklist. Go as per your choice. Any further queries ping here.

Hii sir, I have done engineering from NIT Jalandhar. I am preparing for upsc but I want to prepare for PPCS as a back up. Can you tell me the level of difficulty of aptitude exam as it is of qualifying nature in UPSC but not PPCS? from where did you cover specific Punjab related current affairs and what is their general weightage in exam? Is preparation of UPSC enough for PPCS..?
