Punjab Farmers Protest: Rail Roko Andolan Continues On Day 2; Several Trains Cancelled

Under the banner of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, farmers continued sitting on the railway track in Amritsar, Punjab on 29 September.
Farmers demanded the legal guarantee of MSP for all crops and compensation of Rs 50,000 per acre for crop loss due to recent floods.
The agitation has been called by 18 unions in North India for three days, starting from September 28. Meanwhile, massive security has been deployed to deal with any worsening situation. Many trains were canceled due to the protest.

what is this drama in punjab? why public is tortured for own political interests to disturb bhagwant mann govt. Rail service should not be affected as thousands passengers face difficult situation to reach their destination even after having confirm reservation. Govt. must take strict action as it is taken in every state on train traffic disturbing. there are Railway rules but not followed in Punjab for only political interests.
