Wahaguru Ji Ka Khalsa Wahaguru Ji Ki Fateh SSA uncle Ji can you please let me know why JapJi Sahib was written in 1500 but published in 1604 so other people in that time from Guru Nanak Dev Ji Guru angad Dev Ji guru Amar das Ji and Guru ram das Ji didn't read JapJi Sahib because I was reading and it says JapJi Sahib written in 1500 but published in 1604 in Adi Granth so no one read JapJi Sahib for 104 years not even our gurus until Guru Arean Dev Ji published it please help me out

I believe the translation in English at 40:44 is incorrect. As Jagraj Singh indicated, SOCHAE does not mean thinking, rather, it's refering to cleansing.

"Gurmukhi" GUR NANAK DEV JI was born and brought in PUNJAB, Pakistan so being theirs own first baani ( He started to compile JAPJI sahib from childhood), it goes in PUNJABI ( ofcourse adapted in GURMUKHI)

Our well respected Kathakaars such as Bhai Pinderpal Singh Ji reference this translation. In this translation, check out heading "the meaning and structure of Japuji Sahib". In this writer explains Japji Sahib was written in one sitting rather than combination of multiple composition. I know nothing. If you could please check this out and clarify to sang at which explanation seems to be more right. Please bhul chuk maaf karni.
